I enjoy going to this park and sitting on a blanket landslide and just enjoying the experience. The park is clean for a city park, the traffic noise can intrude sometimes. Often someone will sail an economic sailboat. Finding parking sometimes can be a hassle but usually is no trouble. There are often a lot of joggers but they (so... More

Centennial Park has a nice playground, kids from all over the country and the world, a lake where you can feed the ducks, etc. It's near Vanderbilt and somewhat near Music Row. If you need to turn your kids loose to wear themselves out some, this is a good place.

Centennial Park is great. We saw people laying around, playing Frisbie golf, and taking pictures. We enjoyed walking around the pond, and we sat on a swing for a while and soaked it all in. Very relaxing.

Living in the Nashville area means Centennial Park is always an option for entertainment, just relaxing or walking. There are so many reasons to love this place! It is central to anything in Nashville; there are great walking paths, swings and seating all over the park for relaxing, big open grassy areas for Frisbee, throwing ball or picnics, live music... This park is wonderful, the Parthenon being the main attraction, but the walking trails and gardens are just as nice. There is a dog park across the road and another walking trail there, too. We only got around half the park and doubled back, but you could easily spend a few hours there. Bring a blanket and have a picnic... More

If you like music, food trucks, dogs, kids, beer or just doing something cool that is FREE then this is the place for you. Musicians Corner is a free event on Saturdays in the fall (September and October). It is usually from 12 - 5. The backdrop is the Parthenon in Centennial Park. First of all you get to hear... More

One of the coolest surprises of Nashville - a life size version of Athens' Parthenon! Definitely worth the visit and small admissions charge. Walking around the park is also a nice break from the city. Made me a little sad that all those old fair buildings/statues are gone. They should rebuild!

This definitely was not your ordinary attraction in the middle of a large modern city! It was enjoyable to walk around the park and admire the beautiful architecture of this structure. Cannot vouch for the interior since we did not feel like paying a fee to view it. I would recommend adding this to your list of "things to do"... More

This is a nice walk from Vanderbilt University. It has nice trails, picnic areas and waterways. The Parthenon is a must. I wanted to see where the Percy Jackson movie was filmed. The Athena was impressive, all the history takes awhile to read through the displays. Definitely worth the trip.

We stopped by for a break during a visit to check out the park. It's a large park with fields paths and more. They had a replica of the Parthenon. You can quickly go through the museum and into the main chamber. The statue of Athena is spectacular and really makes you think you in Greece although Nashville says they... More
