My daughter and I took our first trip to the performing arts center to see a performance of Matilda. The facility was clean, large and easy to navigate. There were snacks and drinks(adult drinks too). The theatre was enormous. We were in the Tier section in row L. If I would have know, I would have spent the extra money... More

If you are visiting Nashville, you MUST see a performance at TPAC and visit the State Museum! TPAC is a "showcase" of incredible talent! TPAC hosts Broadway shows and local professional productions. ALL shows at TPAC are AWESOME!!! Be sure you order your tickets at TPAC.org: AVOID scalper sites, if ordering on-line: You can save about $15 if you purchase... More

We saw Matilda and it was great! We sat in the balcony to save money. It was still a GREAT experience, but I would like to sit closer when I go back. Great music, great effects. Lots of fun!

First time here & a great place to see shows. We saw a Comedy show here. Highly recommend! Great seats & comfortable seating as well. There are different stages inside, 3 that I know of. We were in the Andrew Jackson Hall. There are also food/drink vendors inside. Parking is near as well as an underground parking garage. Great experience... More

We have been to a few productions in Nashville, love the surrounding area & easy access to parking for events. Also love the wait time, meeting new people from other states.

Our family has been to several shows at TPAC and have never been disappointed. The only issue I have is bathrooms. They are always crowded and we missed the opening to one act because of the line and then the lady at the door to our seats wouldn't let us in. You do not have much leg room with the... More

My daughter took me for my birthday to see The Nutcracker at Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC). The performance was very enjoyable. They had changed some of the scenery, starting with Clara spending time with her godfather Drosselmeyer at the Tennessee Centennial Celebration (where they encounter different peoples representing those she'll encounter later in the second act) and then ice... I saw Neil deGrasse Tyson last week here. The overall venue is pretty cool with good views from most seats and good acoustics. HOWEVER, despite numerous requests and warnings over the speakers, tons of people were either texting on their phone, taking flash photography during the event, or posting on Facebook. The ushers seems to be uninterested in doing anything... More

We have been attending various events at TPAC every since it opened. They have 3 rooms, the Jackson which seats over 200, the Polk which is a little over 100, and a small, intimate theatre, the Johnson, approx. 250. All of the venues are comfortable with good sound and lighting. As you would expect, the larger room hosts Broadway plays... More

Usually when we're in Nashville for a concert we go to the Ryman which we love. This time we went to the Milk Carton Kids concert in the James Polk Theater. This is a beautiful venue. They even have a snack shop! The chairs are comfortable and the acoustics are perfect. The only thing I didn't like here was the... More
