Wonderful stop in King Valley

One of the best cellar door experiences we have been to. The staff were very knowledgeable and wines fabulous - especially for lovers of everything Italian!

We drove all day from Beechworth to Kiewa Valley, where we were turned away from Ceccanti Winery (they didn't recieve our online booking!!!!! :( ) Over the mountains to Bright and then over to the King Valley where we drove to the southern part to get to Pizzini winery. The lovely lady from Melbourne who took us through the wine... More

The Easter holidays can be a drag because so many hospitality venues close, but Pizzini puts on an extravaganza for the district and Melbourne visitors. $10 entry gives you a souvenir wine glass and access to the wine tastings. You can of course top up your glass with their fine wine offerings and listen to the excellent two man guitarists... More

We visited in early March. Unfortunately, on this particular day they had a a large number of people having tastings. We waited quite a long time to be served. When we were finally served, we just stood there again having to wait for the next tasting to be poured. Food is not offered at this venue. We bought ice cream... More

We enjoyed a long stop over tasting wines here. The selection is wide the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The wines start at just over $20.00 to $110 a bottle. The winery is comfortable and tastefully decorated. we also bought preserves.

Hubby & I were just out for a bit of a weekend drive and saw Pizzini's A'Tavola cooking classes advertised in the local information booklet. Having driven through to the King Valley from Mansfield, when we saw the sign for Pizzini's, we exclaimed, we should stop and check it out. Located in an old Tobacco farm buildings, it's not that... it doesn't look much from the road, only when you venture into the cellar you see through the picture window a beautiful back drop of the garden, vineyard and the mountain range. a very personable family-run winery, i spent the afternoon tasting their wines then venturing to the garden, met madam rosa, the matriarch tending the big vegie patch, had... This family operated vineyard is clearly a work of pleasure so not entirely sure the staff are actually working or just enjoying the company of visitors. The setting of the vineyard is an ex-tobacco farm and the converted buildings are being put to good use. Starting off as one does with the Tasting Room you can get an excellent introduction... More

We were there for the La Dolce Vita festival. The setting was most enjoyable on a warm day. There were activities for kids and musical entertainment for the adults. We enjoyed our meals there, along with a bottle of Pizzini Brachetto.

Thank you Travellingtwo for the great review, we are pleased you enjoyed your visit to the winery. We are updating the schedule for next year's A tavola! cooking classes on the website presently so you will have to plan your next visit around a cooking class. KP More
