We were staying at Rutherglen Caravan Park and called in to Campbells Winery. We found the staff to be so helpful and willing to explain about the different wines and allowed us to sample some without charge and as a result we bought several bottles of Robbie Burns Shiraz which is an excellent wine. Well done Campbells.

Stopped here on our way to Echuca. Impressive entry and well presented gardens. Welcoming staff in a cosy atmosphere with a nice log fire burning away to add to atmosphere. Wine accompaniment of cheese, biscuits, nuts, etc available for purchase as well. We got a takeaway pack of cheese and biscuits, served with knife and serviettes which was a nice touch... More

Whilst we have been wine club members for years we are so pleased they have introduced basket lunches. These are amazing. There is a lovely list of local tasty treats to choose from. You can have as much or as little as you like. For 2 people we chose far too much; Milawa blue and cheddar, fig paste, salami and... More

Muscats are to die for. If you have a big wallet, The Merchant Prince muscat is best in the world. Rated 100/100 Internationally.

I spent plenty of time here and enjoyed every moment of it. I like that you can purchase small, very reasonably priced accompaniments (cheese, olives, crackers, pate, fruit, biscuits) to have alongside your tasting. Although I came expecting mainly to come away with some muscat, it was the Durif that really enchanted me. "The Barkley" Durif was simply amazing. My... More

We love to visit the Rutherglen area and we arrived at Campbell's winery at a quiet time and were delighted to have some undivided attention from the lovely cellar door staff. We tasted some great wines and purchased quite a few to take home. We had already had lunch otherwise the grazing menu looked great. Next time perhaps.

We attended Campbells as part of a hens day with the plan to only stay for a little bit, we ended up staying for the afternoon due to the amazing service we received and the gorgeous setting that Campbells offered. A must stop of if you are visiting Rutherglen wine region.

We had the pleasure of visiting this well run cellar door, enjoying the banter & shared love of wine with two cellar- gentlemen who were engaging, and not in any way pretentious or pushy for sales. The wines sell themselves so great staff with a love of Campbell's wines were an added bonus. We had not intended to have lunch... More

We called in on the way back to melbourne.....am I glad we did!!!! Picturesque setting, amazing service, fantastic wines, I could go on and on. We sat out under the huge oaks with a cheese platter (ample food) together with wine, ambience and chirping birds, absolutely beautiful. Definitely highly highly recommend and will stay on my must visit list. Thank... More

Travelling as a group of about 12, we turned up at Campbells Winery unannounced, we had been told off at the previous winery for not booking, and had a truly wonderful experience. The gentlemen on duty, were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Even happy just to have a laugh and a chat with us. As a group we all enjoyed... More
