Red Tail is a challenging, well maintained mountain course with beautiful scenery. Plus you'll often see deer and and wild turkeys while you're playing. If you happen to land in one of the sand traps, know that they're filled with the same sand used at the Masters !!! We make it a yearly outing for our foursome ... can't wait... More

My husband and I stayed at Red Tail for a weekend getaway. We were met with nothing but great hospitality & friendly service everywhere we went. Peter & Kendall were helpful! Our server, Jamie, was wonderful!! We went to the onsite restaurant for literally every meal we had. The chef's specials were phenomenal (especially the truffle mac and cheese) and... More

We don't golf, but still enjoyed our stay. The staff was super attentive to our needs. Accommodations were modern, clean and well-maintained. Jaime, our waitress at the lodge restaurant totally rocked!

What a treat! Today was my first visit to Red Tail Mountain Golf Club and I am so glad that I chose to dine in the Clubhouse while visiting this lovely course. I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal while gazing out onto one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever witnessed. The food was excellent (I ordered the free... More

The food was outstanding! One of our family members is a vegan. The chef prepared a vegan pot pie that was very flavorful in spite of him not having much experience preparing vegan food. The staff was friendly and personable. We had a mixed group of vegetarians and meat eaters, that was not a problem for them. We were very... More

Discovered this course while on vacation from Florida and it is FUN to play. I played 5 different courses in the NC and TN area and Red Tail Mountain was by far my favorite...played it 3 times. The mountain holes are flat out awesome. You will see some long range views that are just beautiful and hitting 100+ feet down... More

It felt like the course was on its last leg. Staff were pleasant and professional. The new club house is interesting but there is no interior space for golfers to... More
