Extremely expensive and the café staff told all customers including us from 11.50am that we could not sit down and drink or eat as the café was pre-booked from 12.30 to 1.30pm. Lots of customers walked out whilst we waited ages for a lukewarm drink. We will not go back

After having done the Cadbury tour in Tassie, I had very different expectations going into this. If you are expecting to find out how chocolate is made on the factory floor you are going to be disappointed, but if you are looking to some amazing creations made out of chocolate, including an entire train landscape, a single tonne block, 400kg... We went with a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids (aged 13, 10 & 3). All of us loved the tour. It was great fun and took a good half an hour. If you are in Philip Island this is well worth a visit. The only negative thing i can say is that all the brochures said that... More

$16.95 for a small bag of average chocolate! Didn't bother paying the $45 it would have cost our family to go into the display area. Place was packed with coaches on their way to the penguins. This place was making a fortune - left feeling ripped off....

A lot of effort has gone into setting up the interactive tour, especially suited to the kids. Quite educational but showing the signs of suffering from a busy tourist season, with displays worn and a bit grubby. Try to avoid being pushed through by coach tour groups.

The tour of the chocolate factory delivered many delights. In addition to being informative it is very interactive and is also amusing. Each section has been careful planned and created to generate an attraction that has something for everyone.

This place is just weird. First off you expect to walk into a chocolate factory and be hit with an incredible chocolate smell...no, instead it's a curry smell! Don't get me wrong, I love a good korma, but it's a weird combination, chocolate factory and curry bar. The chocolate tastes ok but $16.95 for a small packet??? Insane. Sat down... More

We waited 15 mins in queue to order and over 30 mins to get a very average coffee. Half the tables were still dirty from the last customers. Food is served with plastic cutlery which is fine unless you order something like the chocolate cheese cake (as I did) then good luck cutting the base with your plastic fork, you'll... More

As someone who lives on the Island & proudly takes many visitors to all our various attractions I will not be including the Chocolate factory again. Everytime my guests are disappointed at the displays and the product. They are disgusted at the prices of the chocolate and the cafe.

Pricing can be tricky, we try to keep the prices as low as possible, but we have to charge enough to cover operating costs and a little extra for future expansion. All of our products are hand made from the finest ingredients available from all over the world. We do not mass produce our chocolates like supermarket brands. Our pricing... More
