The first thing I noticed was that they only utilise T bars or pommel lifts to get people up to the top of the runs. These were easier than the ones I usually use. The runs themselves were really different. One side had runs edged by trees while the other side (summit T bar) was a nice and wide open... More

This is my second time visiting Mount Baw Baw. First time during a snow season. Enjoyed the nice drive from Melbourne to the summit. It is smaller compare to other ski places such as Mount Buller. The entry to the place works with a permit purchased online. Kiosk available at the booth when arrived on the summit to purchase the... More

Hi Sarikei Thank you for your recent review of your trip to Baw Baw, it sounds like you enjoyed the smaller, more intimate surroundings of our smaller mountain. Whilst we don't have chair lifts some people prefer the easy of getting on and off our surface lifts however they do take a bit of practise. We will hope to see... More

We travelled from Melbourne setting off around 6.30am, Unfortunately followed GPS which took us on the freeway for 5 minutes and then meandered us through every country town possible. I personally believe that GPS works on the spiral process of going around in ever decreasing circles until you arrive at the destination. Arriving after picking up snow chains at approx.... More

Went up to Mount Baw Baw with my two cousins (aged 7 and 8) yesterday. The road there is pretty long and windy, about 70 km of windy road but it is a mountain so you should expect that. We hired chains but didn't need them, although the 2wd had to put them on. We were able to park in... More

I have always wanted to go to the snow. I was born and raised on the East Coast so snow was impossible. I was able to live my childhood dream. The time I spent here is unforgettable.

I've been to a few places, but still a beginner. Mt Bula is favourite so far. The size of the runs are massive! I can slowly, carefully, go from one side of slope to the other without gaining too much speed, learning as I go. Slowly increasing speed and skills. At Baw Baw I was on a board, it's difficult... Hi Chris-AU1 Thank you for your review however it is disappointing to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us.
