This place needs alot of work. The old blokes running the place are very unfriendly, the bbq's are broken and very dirty, the tables etc are dirty, maybe able to catch 1 fish every 30 mins. Wasted day.

It's a shame that the guy who was running the place today was really unpleasant as the farm is in a beautiful setting. Despite their website saying that there are activites for those who don't want to fish. This was not the case. When we told him that two members of our party didn't want to fish he said that... Came up Melbourne cup day, beautiful day as we turned in, the sign said closed. So i rang, answered by a gentleman who i asked if and when they opened. Replied open NOW! I asked if he would like me to change his sign, as it said closed. Mumbled a response of "sure". So drove in. Walked in the shop,... More

My husband and I took our two children (aged 6 and 9) fishing here as they were keen to try fishing with the certainty of making a catch! Whilst the setting is beautiful, the running of the farm could certainly be improved. We found the staff to be vague about the process involved, and we ended up waiting around for... More

This is a great spot to bring some friends or family and catch some fish for dinner.... The only problem is that it only takes a few minutes to catch a fish! They have a policy that you can't throw it back for obvious reasons but it means that if you only wanted to buy one fish, it's over as... More

Set amongst a beautiful and very natural location, this trout farm was a perfect way to end the afternoon after visiting steavensons falls. We didn't have much luck in the larger ponds but, who really does? We ended up catching 1 huge salmon and 1 equally huge trout in the smaller ponds. Afterwards they are prepared and seasoned for you... More

My partner & I went here yesterday. We both had the day off, ventured to Lake Mountain & Marysville. We wanted to go the farm, so swung past on the way home. There was one to be seen for about 5mins, but the manager soon turned up. As grumpy as he was, he was holding a massive salmon he'd just... More
