Didn't know this existed until a recent family trip to the HIgh Country. The zoo is well appointed with a range of animals including two male white lions. Well worth the entry fee for a family of four of ~$50. Two hours is sufficient time - 1:30pm is lion feeding time, a must see. Tip for owners: Make a better... More

Loved hand feeding the animals. Deer was the highlight. Was very dusty with no rain. Dont go 11-3pm too hot & animals are wise keeping out of the sun. Take plenty of water, sunblock & a hat & a picnic, the peacocks & turkeys & deer will join you eating. Was such a nice experience. We spent 3 hours there,... More

Popped past with my kids and a niece for a visit on a really hot day. Entry is not expensive and the property is basic in its facilities. You can purchase buckets with feed to hand feed many of the animals on this sprawling property and you are pretty much left to your own devices after leaving the house. You... More

I was really disappointed in Mansfield zoo in Terms of their animals! 1 lion, 1 crocodile, a handful of monkey that don't look too happy, deer, camel, dingos and some chickens!! We stayed and camped the night which I did enjoy-they even provided us with swags.. On the down side the have only 2 toilets which were dirty...no shower or... More

3rd visit to the zoo, it was geat to see the new lion. Looks like they are adding new structures which should be good. Not as many aniamals to hand feed, may have been a bit warm for them. But it is a great family activity

This zoo is amazing because you actually get to walk around with a bucket full of animal feed and almost all of the animals there can be hand feed.. I got to hand feed, deer, fawn, kangaroos, wallabies, llama, alpaca, and some more... it was just beautiful!

This is a small country zoo that is very peaceful. With Picnic tables & BBQ there are many places to relax and take in the sights & smells. Animals includes deer, camels, emus, kangaroos, peacocks, bison, ducks, wombats, albino dingos, etc. The main attraction of course is the 2 white lions. The owners are currently building a larger lion enclosure... More

We saw the flyer and thought, why not go have a look? The deer, ducks and other free range animals all seemed healthy and happy enough. Most of the animals behind the fences seemed either tired, old or lonely. The animals were not being mistreated but we left feeling sad for them. This is the first non-metropolition zoo we have... A wonderful hands on experience for all the family; feeding time for the two lions are the highlight...kids also get to feed the tamer animals and wonder around with the ducks and deer following them.
