Lovely little street in a lovely town. Love all the old buildings and niche business's. Also featured some top notch dining establishments

it's just an average high street with a few over-priced galleries, antique shops and trendy clothes shops. people flock there from melbourne, but i don't know why. the food is good, but the night-life is average.

We live in Woodend and have eaten at all the restaurants along Piper Street. Bookings are advised but we often go without booking as you always get into one. Our favs would be Midnight Starling and Mr C!

Visited at end of summer holidays on an extremely hot day. Although it looked like a really interesting street full of quirky shops, unfortunately most of them were closed. It was also mid week which probably didn't help but would like to return for a closer look at a better time.

Service slow, food well prepared apart from gravy that was thick and claggy would recommend faster serviced

On our Victorian antique quest we decided to drive a circuit through towns to the west of Melbourne (see review of the Mill at Daylesford) including Piper Street Kyneton. It's a nice enough street, with a number of shops and a very nice welcome sign, but we could only find one antique shop, a high end facility with some beautiful... More

Was a little disappointed with our visit to Piper Street. Quite a few shops were not open. Even in they were open, there is not such a great variety. Was expecting a lot more Antique shops. A couple of ok places to eat at. Kates Kitchen is worth a visit.

Piper street is well worth a visit - excellent shops, delicious cuisine, regular local markets and a great little museum. If you're looking for some gourmet gifts or something a little more artisan, Piper St is the place to go.

I could easily spend a day here just wandering in and out the gorgeous shops, and stopping for coffees and meals.
