If you do go to Lakes Entrance then don't forget to pay a visit to these caves as it's only 30 km away. It really beautiful not just the caves but even the surrounding. It has many BBQ spots, this will good for a family gathering. There are 3 caves but I only visited the Royal Caves. It was magnificent... More

A must do if you visit the region. The Caves are 1 hour drive from Lakes Entrance and I would recommend that you choose a rainy day when you have not much to do in Lakes Entrance to travel to Buchan to visit these old caves

We all enjoyed our visit to the caves, however a lady in the reception wasn't particularly friendly, which always sours my mood when I'm a paying customer. The history of the caves was interesting although at times we felt hurried along, as the next tour had to start.

what a great place to take the kids, very nice parklands, very friendly staff and tour guides, see both the caves which are extremly interesting. I suggest when you visit to pack a picnic lunch as very few facilities to dine in the area

Great caves The guides were very informative Visited quite a few caves in Australia and have never been able to get up so close to the formations. Both caves were spectacular in their own way. If you only have time to visit one cave the royal cave would be my choice. The caves are not difficult to navigate . There... More

I did the Buchan Cave tour in the year 2009 sometime. It was wonderful cave with lots of decorations. It was too cold inside even though it was too hot outside. We walked to Spring Creek falls. It is worth to visit. I highly recommend people to visit. Thank you Hem2300

I did the Fairy Cave tour. It was a wonderful cave with lots of decorations. You have to do a bit of stooping to get through some parts, but it is well worth it! There were not a lot of tourists around, so you could enjoy the reserve in serenity. The reserve area was lovely as well. I did the... More

10/10 for this tour, we did birth the royal and fairy cave tours. The tour guide was very informative and the caves are absolutely beautiful. There are many steps and some tight areas but all very safe. The park grounds around the caves are well kept and very green. Highly recommend this tour

Our family enjoyed the tour of the Buchan Caves. Such an amazing experience to get up close and personal with the stalagmites, stalactites and other amazing formations. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging with the whole group. Our pre-schooler and toddler both loved the tour and especially loved the adventure of exploring the tracks and stairs. The grounds were... More
