Lovely green space, lots of different significant trees

A nice spot to wander through as you are likely to be in the historic precinct anyway, lots of mature significant trees of differing types - pleasant

Trees planted many, many years ago are the main focus of these gardens. Interesting if you like cedars etc. A garden for its time.

A delightfully quiet place, nice to just sit and ponder the beauty and listen to the birds. Grab a pie and coffee from the Bakery and enjoy.

We walked around and read all the tree names. It is a very peaceful, quiet location. It is good to see towns where the trees are looked after so well.

If you want to have a break from shopping head to the gardens with a snack and relax. Beautiful trees and lawn.

The Town Hall gardens are located next to the Visitor Information centre. A nice little garden for a picnic amongst the mature trees. We were told by the one of the staff at the visitor centre that apparently many of the trees are the original plantings which are registered with the National Trust significant tree register.

Tree huggers paradise! You could feel the history surround you. Picnic tables under the shady canopies would be more welcoming in summer than winter.

The gardens are a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet of the day and offer a glimpse at earlier times when promenading through the gardens would have been a weekend or even daily event. It is lovely they have been maintained in period and retain the bandstand.

I suspect that Beechworth and its gardens will be brilliant in spring, winter in the rain is not the best time to see them at their best
