Great zoo - from the ferry ride to the zoo to the animals. If you go, take the gondola ride after you get off the ferry...don't take the bus. It's much more fun! This place is really nice and handy for the city if you don't get to go into more wild areas of Australia. The bird show is the best I've ever seen and as Sydney including the opera house and the harbour bridge as a background, you'll get some amazing shots and not believe where you are. so much for the 15% off coupons valid till 0ctober 2009 when we arrived sunday 2nd august 2009 we still had to pay full entry prices, which is expensive when we were relying on the discount upon the coupon we had. more

I have been to the zoo several times but its always so exciting to go there. The prices are fairly reasonable for a day out ($41 for adult fare). The bird show is a must, it costs no extra. Visited teh Zoo on Saturday and had a great day. Caught the the 9.45am ferry and got to the zoo before the crowds did. Views back to the CIty are awesome and the Animal shows, Keeper talks and exhibits just make this a fantastic place to go no matter what age you are. Saying that its a bit hilly so... more
