The Walnut Tree is one of 5 yr old daughters favourite place to visit. We've been there quite a few times and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on each occasion and in the dry and wet. There is plenty to do to keep the little ones fully occupied and a good cafe to take a breather after all the running around!

Today in mixed weather our family (Mum, Dad & 6 year old) found Walnut Tree Farm Park. Easy to access and situated between Cardiff & Newport, we arrived at the farm. Ample parking and a very short walk to the entrance, we paid the admission (£4.50 per adult & £3.50 per child). With feed at 50p per bag, I'd suggest... More

The high light for the girls was a 2 day old foal Dave. Lots of swings and the like when children had enough of the animals. Make sure you take cash for feed, always the best part of the visit. Animals not pushy like at other farms. We'll be going back befor the end of the holidsays.

Amazing time out with kids. It was raining for the first half of the day and while that we were inside playing with animals. So it's a great place no matter the weather
