There is a lot to do for families of all ages. Fun rides, playing/relaxing on the beach, admiring the scenery... Our two year old was spoilt for choice. He enjoyed playing on a fireman machine, which involved holding a water gun and trying to put out the 'fires'. There were spinning teacups and fun water activities. We didn't stay too... More

Tricky to review as this page is for the pleasure park but my rating is for the whole of Barry Island as a resort. First the good, the beach is lovely, very clean, sandy and very gently slopes so great for paddling also nice cafes and ice cream kiosks. The not so great, only toilets up one end of beach... More

We spent a couple of hours here on a sunny morning. Quaint and old fashioned seaside place, quiet and family friendly. The best bit for us was the golden sandy beach and glistening sea - the views over the water are stunning. Definitely worth visiting for a walk on the beach.

We were passing through and thought it would be nice to stop off here and have a little look. The beach is beautiful, lovely golden sand and our children loved running around on there. It was fairly early in the morning so there wasn't much open but still beautiful none the less, Well worth a visit.

Lovely beach with nice coastal walks. There is currently quite a bit of building work going on which has resulted in the coastal path being diverted. The beach was fairly tidy. We avoided the amusements as it looked & sounded 'cheap and cheerful' rather than a quality day out. Plenty of references to Gavin and Stacey - we are very... More
