Took the kids down today after school for a look after seeing it all on the news about the new management and rides...... I was really impressed it looks much better and very nice for the family aswell. The kids loved the little roller coaster. We will be back again in the half term.

The pleasure park is only fun for a quick visit and it's not really got that many rides, but it's cheap and easy to get in and out of in no time with the kids. The beach is the best place to be on a sunny day; it's clean and the kids love playing in the sand building castles. It's... More

Visited over Easter weekend just for an evening, and it looked like a visiting fairground had taken over the old pleasure park, which I know had become derelict. That being said, it is a pleasant enough place to stroll around and take in the scenery with a portion of chips in your hand.

Nothing much changed since I last visted! Ok new beach huts which adds a lot of colour to the place! Always big queues for chips! And always big delays coming out of Barry!!! Needs a big revamp big time !!!!!

Visited on the 9th of April 2015 to see the new fair which had just reopened, but in all honesty it wasn't up to much but having just reopened we weren't expecting much hope it will get better in a few years. Lovely beach which the kids loved and plenty of stuff to do outside the fair ground. So all in... More

having seen this featured online, we visited on Easter Monday. The pleasure park had re-opened on Good Friday after years of neglect and the new owners are restoring it. Completion is a long way off and it looks as though they opened at Easter to maybe get funds in. Being Easter, it was packed and the kids seemed to be... More

Had a lovely time, but unfortunately the chaos in trying to get out off the carpark on Easter Sunday has put me off ever going back. 4 hours to get out of a carpark is a joke

Visited Barry island yesterday. Easter sunday. Big mistake. Ok if all you want to eat is chips and don't mind walking through dogs mess constantly. And then of course there's the 4 hour wait to get out of the carpark..
