Brilliant... So clean and tidy and the beach was amazing... The shops are very reasonably priced and there is something for everyone... The food was tidy and everyone was nice and welcoming...

whilst I was pleasantly surprised at how nice Barry Island itself is, there was an incident that made me concerned about how safe it is for elderly members of the public. Whilst walking to the car park I slipped and fell on the ramp down from the promenade at the far left side. This is because at the top of... More

We spent a couple of hours here on a sunny morning. Quaint and old fashioned seaside place, quiet and family friendly. The best bit for us was the golden sandy beach and glistening sea - the views over the water are stunning. Definitely worth visiting for a walk on the beach.
