It's like any other seaside faire if I'm honest, rides and music. Its good old fashioned fun I guess. Rides little bit on the expensive side but aren't they all? We went with a mix of adults, teenagers and young children. Few issues though to be noted, there is carpet that is a severe trip hazard and needs to be... More

Hi, I've spoken to the park manager about this incident. He has informed me the member of staff in question was instantly dismissed for gross misconduct. This behaviour is completely unacceptable. We can only apologise profusely. We are building a family friendly park. As for the matting, We have only been on the site 6 weeks, there was, and still... More

I have been visiting Barry Island for over twenty years, I've always found it a little embarrassing and tend to leave my car on the edge and just have a good walk round the outside. The setting for this Park is really picturesque, the beach is beautiful and is washed twice daily. Today on my visit, I was drawn to... More

Barry Island beaches are beautiful and unspoilt. There is a wonderful walk over Clement Colley Walk, that takes you from Witmore beach to Jackson Bay. Millions of ££ have been spent redeveloping the beach front, including beach huts and a wonderful water feature. There are two points jutting out to the Bristol Channel each side of the bay, one being... More

Took my girlfriends parents to the island and explained to them what was happening to the pleasure park as it was in the process of being taken over by the Danter family to bring back the tourists to the area to put money in to the area to make it as popular as it was years previously

The site has a lot of construction work going on and it is not á pleasant place to visit. I found parking very difficult and there and not many places where you can dine in.

Hi, we are building a family friendly park. We have only been on the site 6 weeks, there was, and still is a huge amount of work to do. The place was in ruins 6 weeks ago. All the unsafe structures (including the log flume) had to be demolished. We made a promise to be open for Easter, and we... More

The pleasure park is only fun for a quick visit and it's not really got that many rides, but it's cheap and easy to get in and out of in no time with the kids. The beach is the best place to be on a sunny day; it's clean and the kids love playing in the sand building castles. It's... More
