Great day out, kids loved it. Lots of attractions, fun for everybody. Has a wide range of shops and rides. The beach is fantastic however it does get packed!

I visited this place last year and thought what a joke! I came back a year later and was taking aback. Wow the place was busy, all the rides were working with a member at each station, plus new rides. This park had a great atmosphere instead of my kids being bored they were entertained with rides to suit all.... More

The key is to not expect too much of this place and you'll enjoy it! It's reasonable value for all of the rides but I feel that it could be more tidy and safer, there are trip hazards (cables and old mats/carpets) lying around all over the park!

Plenty of rides tokens cost 75p each but most of the rides are 3 or 4 tokens so £10 for 15 tokens did not last long They have rides for younger children at two tokens each ,My daughter went on three rides in total with her dad and wanted to go on more but i decided £10 was her limit.They... More

Typical old fashioned fun fare. Kids had a great time, good selection of rides and no need to spend a fortune.

As I've said before in my review of Boofy's, Barry Island was my childhood. I remember travelling down across the bridge to the familiar sight of the log flume. The yellow plastered walls and the comically oversized letters as the animal boats went around the track. Sure, it was ugly, but it was an iconic site of Barry. I still... More

Since the release of Gavin and Stacey, Barry Island seems to have become much more popular and the recent developments along the promenade have continued to help with this. There are three beaches along Barry seafront. The main beach (Whitmore Beach) in the center is the most popular, particularly with families, but does not allow dogs during the summertime -... More
