Lovely park, it has something for everyone, open spaces for ball games, and dog walking, children's play area, pitch n put golf, a beautiful viaduct, plenty of parking, a nice walk down to the sea, and all very well maintained, I had the most scrummy ice cream from the cafe, definitely worth going back for.....

Great place to have picnics, plenty of room for the children's ball games, large varied woodland area with plenty of marked pathways to explore. Golf, caffe, clean toilets everything for a great day with the children at minimum cost.

Huge fields to play ball sports, barbecue area and a nice clean beach are just some of the benefits at the park. There are forest walks and great views of Victorian viaducts which really do make me smile, they built to last with elegance back then. There is also a lovely cafe called the forest cafe which is a branch... More

We ended up in this park by mistake but we ended up loving the drive. It was stunning the park was absolutely beautiful. Nice small car park didn't go into the cafe / shop but we did sit in the open spaces there are lots of them. Love it here highly recommended

First time here and started the Gower Run Walk Crawl from the middle of the park and headed out to the coast. A really lovely outdoor space that seemed hidden away. Woodland, vast open grass areas, open beaches. You could bring the family here and spend the day if the weather is on your side and it's free!

Well managed - looking really good - wild flowers , trees in bud , birds singing , wildlife etc. May it continue - such an asset within Vale of Glamorgan

It's a shame that the park has tried to cash in on golf and cafes. It was much nicer when it was just left natural.

Porthkerry is a lovely country park tucked away in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. It is a large meadow surrounded by woodland, bounded by a pebble beach and with a cafe, children's play area and pitch and put area. I have utilised the area for dog walking, running and cycling and the terrain lends itself to excellent training. I have eaten... More
