Lovely

A huge area of pure nature to explore. You can even hike if you'd like, however make sure the ground is dry, otherwise your shoes will be ruined!

I grew up near here so I may be a little biased but Porthkerry Park is a lovely place to go out for the day. Picnic, splash in the sea, walk the trails...there is just so much nature and fresh air!

The park has everything you need for a day out. Pitch a put golf is available, also children's play area. Short walk to the sea from the car park, brings you onto a nice pebble beach. Some nice woodland walks and yo get a great view of the viaduct. The walk to the sea is on good Tarmac patch so... More

Much improved over last few years with addition of the Forest Cafe, nature trail paths and then the community cabin. Some of the pitch and putt golf course has been lost due to neglect. Just a pity they don't look after the surrounding upper fields by clearing the paths so the public/dog walkers can have access but sadly these are... More

The park has a lot of open space and offers a good golf course . The park lies right on the beach . The beach is not manned by lifeguards so be careful if going for a dip as currents in the channel are very strong. The beach has no sand only pebbles. The park also has a lot of footpaths good...
