Description: This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept...
This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept underground by a mysterious hooded boatman and through a magical waterfall; your gateway to the Dark Ages and to the life and times of King Arthur.Once docked, your boatman guides you around the vast caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth where you'll find ancient stories of King Arthur and other Welsh legends too. Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. This is a real adventure for young and old whatever the weather - a cool attraction when hot and a dry attraction when wet...Open: Daily 10am to 5pm from 23rd March to 1st November 2015

Thanks for your review, you must have been one of our first visitors of the season as we only re-opened yesterday! The attraction you describe is King Arthur's Labyrinth. Lost Legends of The Stone Circle is a different attraction and right next to King Arthur's Labyrinth. Lovely to read that you enjoyed your visit and the Corris Craft Centre studios... More

very atmospheric but short boat ride through the start of the mine which ends by going through a waterfall then a good walk through the rest of the mine , The kids loved it . some descent artisan craft shops on site and a reasonably priced cafe . All in all a very enjoyable day out.

Thanks for your review - your advice to wrap up warm is spot on, even on the hottest summer day the underground Labyrinth is cool and we suggest you wear a warm coat. The King Arthur's Labyrinth visit takes just over an hour from the beginning to returning your helmets at the end. There's lots more to do at the... More

Most old slate/copper/lead/whatever mines are similar but this one starts with a short ride in a boat, and through a waterfall (I'll not spoil it by saying how). Quite a hike through various chambers with King Arthur period figures and recorded stories. These were quite clear to listen to (unlike some of that ilk) and interesting too. No particular dislikes,... More

We visited King Arthur's Labyrinth with friends whilst staying for a week in mid wales. Well what can I say?? You sit and watch a short film and then walk towards the mine where you get on a long, narrow boat. It is very dark in there and little children were very freaked out. My son and friend are 8... We’re so disappointed by your review and can only suggest that you booked yourself tickets for the wrong visitor attraction. We never claim to be a mine trip, in fact we don’t really promote the fact that King Arthur’s Labyrinth is in an old Welsh slate mine. Therefore we are disappointed that you expected this sort of experience from a... More

We visited with our two young children aged 4 and 1 and had a lovely day. All the staff are inviting and friendly and the boat ride and underground show kept them entertained! We really enjoyed walking around the legends of the stone circle which is great if you have younger children and my daughter loved the medal she was... More

On a rainy day in mid-Wales it's time to go underground and find out about King Arthur. This was fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. It's a bit quirky seeing the displays but just wonder at the size of some of the caverns. Great value if you're looking for something to do on a bad weather day.

After looking round all the craft workshops and their amazing wares from jewellery, glass ornaments (made in front of you), candlemaking, beautiful woodwork and pottery etc we then samples coffees and cake in the cafe (absolutely delicious)we started our labyrinth experience. Wow and we love every part of your review too! Thank you so much. We visited while staying just up the road. Having past this place many times before, we thought we would give it a go. We booked onto a tour and as many others have stated we had some time to kill. So we started with the craft shops, a great selection of different crafts are on offer, from woodwork (my favorite)... More
