Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. We were heading to Aberystwyth to catch the little train and we spotted the sign for this attraction as we were driving past. We had a spare hour, so we pulled in. We were amazed by all the little craft shops here. We bought lots of Welsh Real Ale at one shop and admired the smoking dragons at another. Not... More

Had an afternoon here as it was raining but we quite enjoyed the adventure and the craft stalls/shops

Machynlleth King Arth was okay more a family thing I would say, we are not really into these attraction things, but we set out to find a bespoke jewellery shop in the area, by chance we found Corris Craft Centre, Corris, Machynlleth, Powys SY20 9RF (01654 761584) So! on a rainy day in Wales it's okay for a couple of... Thank you for your review. I'm not sure if you visited King Arthur's Labyrinth or not - I am thinking not? Nice to read that you enjoyed the adjoining Craft Studios and café though. More

Impressive caves. Very interesting. Maybe a little dated but this is reflected in the price. nice selection of crafty shops and a nice cafe! Situated in a very beautiful scenic part of the country.

I wasn't sure about this after mixed reviews but we were glad that we visited. The booking was efficient and the staff all very helpful. I enjoyed hearing the stories down in the mine and would have been happy to have heard more although I felt the displays could have been a bit more exciting. The last two stories were... More

Visited today after finding a leaflet at Pistyll Rhaeder. There are two main attractions, the labyrinth in the caves and a maze outside. It didnt help that we visited on a rainy day, but the mannequins and the maze could do with some updating. The stories to listen to take too long, and my 5yr old was afraid of the... More

I struggle with this review because I can appreciate that the owners have turned an industrial relic into a modern enterprise that offers employment to locals and entertainment to tourists. But it wasn't for me, and I wish I had realised that before I booked on line in advance. Young families will find that a godsend on a rainy day,... More

It sounds like you visited the wrong attraction... We have a neighbouring attraction / activity - Corris Mine Explorers which takes people into a different level of the old Braich Goch slate mine (King Arthur's Labyrinth uses a part of this old mine to form a dramatic backdrop for the retelling of Welsh myths and legends and tales of King... Had been to King Arthur's Labyrinth. However since we didnt book in advance, we couldnt go in. Hence decided to visit the other attraction - Stone Circle. Adult entry is around £5 and is a waste of money. This is a maze and some statues placed all over the place with some narration. If this is bundled with the main... More

We're sorry to read that you could not get boat seats for King Arthur's Labyrinth, unfortunately due to the nature of this underground adventure, there is a limited capacity, which can sometimes be exceeded especially on busy summer days. To guarantee your boat seats we recommend that you book on line (this is available up to the day before you... More

Drove over two hours to get there and then spent ages trying to park in a very busy car park. When we arrived we were told the day was fully booked. No signs upon entering the attraction to tell you as such and no warnings to book in advance which is disappointing. The craft village was fairly small but had... More

We're so sorry to read that you drove such a long distance to find that the Labyrinth boat seats were all booked for the day. We always advise visitors that to guarantee their seats they should book in advance of arrival during the busy months of July and August and especially on dull days. If an on line booking is... More

My family and I (consisting of 3yr old child) arrived to this on 19th August 2014 as I'd been before as a child and enjoyed it. Admittedly it is a bit expensive, but the atmosphere in the cave is nice (though dress warmly with good footwear). We had some time to wait for the next tour of the Labyrinth (about... More

Thanks so much for visiting with your own family this time, we're pleased that you all enjoyed the visit underground. We have searched for children's sized helmets but unfortunately they are just not available so we advise that children either put up their hood, as you did, or wear a hat beneath the helmet. Pleased that you also enjoyed our... More
