Description: The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure...
The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure starts, is a National Tourism Awards finalist in the Best Day Out in Wales 2015! This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept underground by a mysterious hooded boatman and through a magical waterfall; your gateway to the Dark Ages and to the life and times of King Arthur.Once docked, your boatman guides you around the vast caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth where you'll find ancient stories of King Arthur and other Welsh legends too. Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. This is a real adventure for young and old whatever the weather - a cool attraction when hot and a dry attraction when wet. Open: Daily 10am to 5pm from 23rd March to 1st November 2015

The cave is a beautiful one but it is only showing the stories about King Arthur. They are interesting but the exhibition may as well be showed in a museum, no need to visit a cave. The natural cave is, in my opinion, waisted, as no information about it is available. I think that if the short trip could be... More

Thank you for your review. The underground setting which you enjoyed so much is an old Welsh slate mine comprising many different levels. We use the lower level as a dramatic underground setting for the retelling of ancient tales of King Arthur, and other Welsh legends too. The underground labyrinth with its huge caverns and winding tunnels creates a mysterious... More

My friend and I decided that the King Arthur's labyrinth looked a good afternoon out. On arrival we stopped in the cafe that they had on-site which was a cute little place however not very fast at serving. On-site they have a craft village which is full of great stuff and courses you can have a go at including candle... More

Thank you for your review, it's good to read that you enjoyed your afternoon with us. The Dark Age Boatman sails you through the magical waterfall and into the underground Labyrinth. He is from a time, long, long ago and as such a mysterious character. If you are wishing to know more about the history of the underground caverns, you... More

After reading reviews on here, I was hoping that the good reviews were true... and they were. We took our 8 and 5 year old girls here and they both really enjoyed it. The boat trip into the caves was really exciting for them and all four of us were impressed with how attention grabbing the story was. A very... More

For the money I felt it was a short experience however I do appreciate that it is aimed at kids/families. We went as a couple and did enjoy the caverns I just felt it could of lasted a bit longer and p.s you get wet on the boat and the seats are wet!

Thank you for your review. It’s good to read that you enjoyed the underground caverns, which make an impressive backdrop to the ancient myths and legends told. The King Arthur’s Labyrinth visit is 1 hour in duration with 45 minutes spent in the underground caverns. The underground setting does result in a few drips of water seeping through the rocks,... Corris Mine Explorers was closed on the day we visited, so we did the King Arthur's Labyrinth instead. It wasn't really what we wanted to do, but we had good fun anyway - the boat ride in particular was fun. I guess it is aimed at kids, but as a group of adults we still enjoyed it, and the legends... If you're into folk lore and the romance of Arthurian times then this place is for you. A group of friends and I visited here and really enjoyed the experience. This was great fun and really interesting. We took four children between four and seven, and the all loved it. We learned more about the legend of King Aurthur and Welsh history than I expected, and it was engaging and interesting. It's well presented, clean and very efficient. The staff were very helpful and it's hard to fault. There something... More

very enjoyable half a day at this attraction. My only wish was that I went in the summer and not march due to the cold weather. My partners only issue was the tour guide did not stay in character whilst taking us around the labyrinth.

Thank you for your review, we're pleased to read that you enjoyed King Arthur's Labyrinth. If you were to return in August you would find that the underground caverns are the same cool temperature as they were in March. They're a constant 10 degrees all year round. We're sorry to read that the guide didn't stay in character for all... More

King Arthur's Labyrinth is a great day out for anyone. Plenty of arts and crafts to check out and the mine itself is superb. Definitely wrap up warm though even when hot as it can get chilly in the labyrinth. The smoking dragons are a must have and a great souvenir. My family bought four of the big ones when... More

Thanks for your great review and wonderful advice about wrapping up warm even on a hot sunny day. We're pleased to read that you enjoyed the craft studios too.
