Description: The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure...
The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure starts, is a National Tourism Awards finalist in the Best Day Out in Wales 2015! This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept underground by a mysterious hooded boatman and through a magical waterfall; your gateway to the Dark Ages and to the life and times of King Arthur.Once docked, your boatman guides you around the vast caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth where you'll find ancient stories of King Arthur and other Welsh legends too. Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. This is a real adventure for young and old whatever the weather - a cool attraction when hot and a dry attraction when wet. Open: Daily 10am to 5pm from 23rd March to 1st November 2015

Cost £8:50 adult. You get another attraction half price if you buy them both together however It was not open on the day we visited so I cannot comment. The boat times are not routine as I was told by the lady who worked there, she said they should run every hour although it seemed every half hour depending on... More

For the money I felt it was a short experience however I do appreciate that it is aimed at kids/families. We went as a couple and did enjoy the caverns I just felt it could of lasted a bit longer and p.s you get wet on the boat and the seats are wet!

Corris Mine Explorers was closed on the day we visited, so we did the King Arthur's Labyrinth instead. It wasn't really what we wanted to do, but we had good fun anyway - the boat ride in particular was fun. I guess it is aimed at kids, but as a group of adults we still enjoyed it, and the legends... If you're into folk lore and the romance of Arthurian times then this place is for you. A group of friends and I visited here and really enjoyed the experience. Be sure to wear warm clothes even if visiting on a blazing hot day the temperature under the mountain ( that excited me a lot being a Tolkien, fantasy fan... More

Thanks for your great review and brilliant recommendation! Good advice to wrap up warm, as you say, even on a blazing hot day, the underground Labyrinth is a cool (year-round temperature)10 degrees. Good to read that you enjoyed the adjacent craft studios too. More

This was great fun and really interesting. We took four children between four and seven, and the all loved it. We learned more about the legend of King Aurthur and Welsh history than I expected, and it was engaging and interesting. It's well presented, clean and very efficient. The staff were very helpful and it's hard to fault. There something... More

very enjoyable half a day at this attraction. My only wish was that I went in the summer and not march due to the cold weather. My partners only issue was the tour guide did not stay in character whilst taking us around the labyrinth.

Thank you for your review, we're pleased to read that you enjoyed King Arthur's Labyrinth. If you were to return in August you would find that the underground caverns are the same cool temperature as they were in March. They're a constant 10 degrees all year round. We're sorry to read that the guide didn't stay in character for all... More

King Arthur's Labyrinth is a great day out for anyone. Plenty of arts and crafts to check out and the mine itself is superb. Definitely wrap up warm though even when hot as it can get chilly in the labyrinth. The smoking dragons are a must have and a great souvenir. My family bought four of the big ones when... More

Thanks for your great review and wonderful advice about wrapping up warm even on a hot sunny day. We're pleased to read that you enjoyed the craft studios too. We're not sure when you visited, but sadly the Leather Studio is no longer at Corris Craft Centre. However, you'll find 8 craft studios where a range of wonderful items are... More
