This is the first time I have ever left a review. We come here for lunch every year whilst on holiday and always look forward to returning. We came for lunch on Saturday 22nd August with our 6 year old little girl and for the first time ever was really disappointed. The children's menu was very limited. They had run... More

4 of us went with one of us in wheelchair. Gardens slope a lot, and I mean a lot! and mostly lawn, and only one bit of concrete path. Have advised them to get more advice about making it more wheelchair friendly. Lovely lake, interesting for kids, and helpful staff re gluten free food and wd be good to have... More

This was a pleasant afternoon stroll round the gardens and lakes. Plenty to see but not a lot of flowers as such. Seats to sit and read or look at the beauty of the birds and other creatures like squirrels. Very enjoyable time. Gift shop, pottery and a lovely place to eat good healthy food.

Visited a couple of times this year. The gardens are very nice and make a nice place to spend some timing walking around and discovering the 'houses' in the woods which the kids loved.

We had a lovely afternoon here with two little ones, who are coming up to 3 years of age. The gardens, lake and woodland are well laid out. Walking around we kept coming across things to amuse the little ones. We all enjoyed your superb play house and what a surprise we had when we came across your huge wooden train... More

I visited with my partner & our 3 children, 12yrs, 13yrs & 15mths. It had something for each of them there. It's rare to find something that suits all of them, owing to their age difference, that also leaves me with change of a £10 note for entry. It truly is a beautiful place with too many different trees &... More

This is a little gem of a place, right on doorstop. It's. A lovely place to spend an afternoon with a coffee and a cake and a walk around the woodland. On this visit my daughter treated me to lunch in the restaurant. The staff are very helpful and attentive, the lunch was lovely though a wee bit expensive considering... More

We popped in for lunch on our way back from a beach walk. The place was busy and the staff were doing their utmost to ensure customers were happy and service ran smoothly. It looked stressful! My husband ordered the Hilton pie and I had a lasagne (our daughter wasn't hungry!) and both were delicious. We rounded off with some... More

Thankyou for taking the time to leave feedback. You visited on an unexpectedly busy day and all the staff in the restaurant worked really hard to try and keep all customers happy. Thankyou for being understanding with how hard things can be when it gets really busy and we look forapward to welcoming you again. More

Absolutely stunning gardens with plenty of little walks around the grounds. I loved the scattered seating areas around the beautiful lily pond. We had lunch in the restaurant: fresh, tasty and very reasonable. We recommend the Hilton pie! Lots to browse in the crafty shops and a special mention to Mark the potter who made us and our dogs very... More
