Beautiful gardens & ponds. Nice shops displaying photos, pictures, pottery etc. in the courtyard leading into the gardens. We had lunch for 4 in the restaurant. The service was good, especially when a coach full of OAPs turned up, wandered in & wander out again! Lovely ice cream - give it a try!

Glad you enjoyed your visit and I definitely agree on the welsh ice-creams, they are scrummy! Hopefully see you again in the future. More

I love gardens and have visited many around the world. This was one of the smallest and the most beautiful. You have to try the ice cream before venturing forth. A real treat!

Thankyou so much and we are really glad you enjoyed your visit. I completely agree about the welsh ice-creams, one of my favourites being caramel crunch. More

I know this venue well as I live close by. Usually things are pretty good but not this time (8th July 2014) the service and offering at the tea room but when leaving where was the person behind the counter of the shop? We had chosen 2 pots, £10 of really interesting and different greeting cards and a hip flask... More

As you mentioned in your feedback the service here is pretty good and as a small family run business we rely on local support as well as tourists. Unfortunately the past week has been difficult with a close family member being taken into hospital after a serious accident and another two members of staff away due to sickness. We have... More

My hubby & I visited on a rather grey drizzly day, luckily the rain stopped for our wander around the beautiful gardens, we were accompanied by Willow the owners border collie who presented us with various sticks to throw! We wandered through these tranquil gardens smiling with every new vista, noticing various birds & insects along the way. This place... More

Visited on a bright sunny day and would endorse all that has been said in previous comments. The gardens, the restaurant, the shop, the tearoom, the staff - all 100%. A1 +++++.

Saw the sign for this place and decided to visit. We weren't disappointed. Please make sure that you find and take the difficult-to-find woodland walk around the back. The foxgloves were all out as well as the ragged robin - and we hadn't seen ragged robin in a long time. Of course the main lakes and surrounds were lovely. You... More

Thankyou for taking the time to leave feedback it is much appreciated. The pathway through the old woodlands that becomes boggy ever time it rains we have decided to redirect through a drier part of the old woodlands. Hopefully see you again in the future. More

Decided to visit after seeing in Facebook. What a great decision this was. Fantastic pond with fish and birds, beautiful gardens with a swing and fantastic dome hot house. The staff were great, friendly and very nice. We visited twice and were glad each time. The ice creams and cake were to die for. We will be back on the... More

We decided to visit this garden based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. We totally agree with all of the positive comments previously made. Each member of staff we encountered were friendly and cheerful, in particular the gift shop lady and the two coffee shop ladies who made us feel very welcome indeed. Our 17 week old puppy was also made... More

Thankyou so much for taking the time to leave feedback. Glad you enjoyed the gardens and your visit here, the restaurant can get busy and as it was Father's Day there were a lot of bookings, maybe if you decide to come again it might be worth prebooking a table as all the food is homemade and scrumptious! Hopefully we... More

We saw the gardens on visitwales.com website, and thought it sounded a good place to visit. We were happy with our choice, as the gardens really were gorgeous and the proprietors so friendly and accommodating. There were some tepees being set up for a wedding at the weekend, and I imagine it will be a stunning backdrop for such an... More

I loved this place from the moment we were greeted in the car park by a beautiful friendly collie......she happily dropped a little stick at our feet and we played for ages. Sadly we didn't have enough time to visit the actual gardens due to a prior commitment so we wandered around the gift shop, pottery etc. The lady in... More
