Yes the location you cannot beat, but the facilities are minimum and the price skyrockets for summer season. There are other smaller campsites in the area that are a lot cheaper.

I have been camping here for several years now and the site never fails to disappoint. A wonderfully friendly team and a warm welcome every time. The site is immaculately clean, the shower block is second to none and the location takes some beating too. Little extras like a room where you can buy bits that other campers have left... More

This was our first camping trip as a family and we decided to try a full week, 5 hours drive from home with four year old twins!! Well, the weather wasn't terribly kindly us, but wow, what a location!!! Absolutely beautiful and virtually on the beach, with amazing surfing and our kids loved wading through the little pools left on... More

I don't really want to advertise this campsite as I don't want too many people visiting!! The site is basic - just the shower block which are kept very clean. A washing up room with plenty of leaflets of places to visit. Next to the campsite is a pub, surf shop and cafe. That's it! Nothing for kids to pester... More

This is one of the more basic campsites I've stayed at but it ticks all the boxes I want it to, i.e Showers, toilets, flat (unless you're on the bank at the back) and they don't allow groups of Inbetweeners style teenagers or dogs. I stayed in late August 2014 and although it was windy, it's such an amazingly beautiful... More

We came across this site whilst heading from Haverfordwest to St David's. It's a fairly basic site but it's attraction is its beautiful location. The amenities block looks utilitarian from outside but has been recently refurbished to a good standard. The adjacent Duke of Edinburgh pub serves good food and a selection of hand pulled real ales. We enjoyed it... More

I dont usually write reviews but on this occasion, I felt compelled to do so. I have just returned from my first trip to Newgale and I have to say that although it started off as a horror show due to arriving at the the site during the back end of a hurricane, the campsite and people on it helped... We try to get to Newgale at least once a year . It's our favourite place . The campsite , the beach , the pub and the cafe are all excellent . This year we've managed two visits and next year we'll be back again :)

Myself and mate turned up on motorcycles en route to stay at St Davids but couldn t pass without seeing up we could stay for the night because of its location. The lady in the caravan was very polite and said it was not a problem. (Some places will not accept 2 guys in two tents on motorcycles). £7 each... More
