This campsite is right on the beach you can't ask for a better location. Although you can't book in advance we always have a nervous drive down to Newgale because we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else the friendly owners/staff are very kind to quiet adult regulars. The showers and loo's are spotless and the washing up area such a... More

We have been going to newgale for about 7 years, it was discovered by accident when we got lost while buying a trailer tent for the in-laws. Anyway, what can you say that hasn't already been mentioned? The owners are friendly, helpful and remember the regular visitors. Towards the later part of the 2012 season they installed several pitches with... More

Stayed here a few years ago with my partner, one of the best getaways ever. The campsite is very basic with just a shower block, but for £10 a night you couldnt complain. The owners were lovely, very friendly and chatty. Everything you needed was a short distance away. Pub which serves food, which we had both nights and was... More

Our tent got upended in gale force winds and the lower part of the field does flood - would use it more often if they allowed dogs - seems strange not to, who knows?

Have been to Newgale twice. The main site is flat but goes uphill to one end. Great for surfers as it's literally on the beach - but protected by a shingle bank. It was quite quiet all weekend in fact we got asked to turn down Radio Two's Jubilee commentary early evening by the girl in the tent next door!... More

if weather is fine lovely place to go surfing, if sea is wild then the whole place will flood on very exceptional circumstances.

An exceptional location, literally a stone's throw from the magnificent Newgale beach. This truly is one of the best and most reasonably priced campsites in Pembs. True, it is not the most luxurious, but when surfing is the aim of your holiday there is no better place (providing the surf is on your side!). On site, the camp is friendly... More

Superb camp site. Enough space to get away from people. Well kept and clean facilities. Owner ensures discipline is maintained regarding kids, dogs and noise. Ideal for beach and watersports. Suits us as owners dont mind contractors staying here. Just ensure you have shopped for basics as nearest Spar is some distance away and beach shop might not be open.

Newgale campsite is lovely. Just across the road from the sea, pubalmost on site, shop and cafe very near by. There are good facilities - clean washrooms and showers - plenty of hot water (buy shower tokens) and a washig up area. Only been when site moderately busy, but would not imagine its ever a problem. Friendly owners. Rules laid... More
