We booked 2 tours with Backbeat Tours. First...we went on the Graceland Tour. Did not enjoy having to use the ipads with earphones for the tour so turned this off. But this was no fault of Backbeat Tours. The next day we had scheduled the Extended Big Mojo Tour. Loved this!!! Especially with Katherine as our tour guide as well... More

Kathryn was the most excellent tour guide. This was our first tour in Memphis and it set a wonderful tempo for things to come. Kathryn is an EXCELLENT singer and her history tidbits and personal stories just added to the wonderfulness of this tour. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour.

This tour was a fabulous combination of music and sights as the tour bus traveled around historic Memphis. Definitely worth the ticket price. Our guide, Katherine, had a great voice as she sang, and insightful comments about the history of music in Memphis. This is a fun experience, regardless of your knowledge of Memphis.

Bought the 90min tour. Nice bus tour, good music playing tour guide, lots of interesting info on early days of Memphis and her famous musical stars, but did not stop at any sights. Just a ride around town...will do the Hop On, Hop Off next time.

Some bus tours can get a little monotonous but not this one. It was go all the way. Love the concept of having the tour done by a person with musical talent, especially in a City with such an important place in the history of music. A great narrative on the important spots and history of the city a great... More

As first timer in Memphis, I was looking for a tour that would give me a good overview of what to see and do. The Mojo Music Bus did that and more! The fairly modern bus was clean and comfortable and the sound system was perfect for hearing all of the great narration. Our guide, Nancy Apple, is an accomplished... More

Our guide Brandon was informative, funny and a good musician. It was an excellent intro to Memphis for us and we went straight on to take their follow up history tour. We added on the Sun studio tour which was well worth the extra. With a short time in Memphis these are the best way to see the important areas.

The tour guide was very proud of her voice and album, but we learned almost nothing about the city that we didn't know just from reading tourism articles.

For newcomers to Memphis, the tour was a quick and delightful way to learn about the city, and the singing tour guide was a wonderful first for us!

This was a fun general tour of Memphis. We were only in Memphis for one day so wanted to get an overview of the city. This was the ticket! It's a bus trip so not any real time at any of the sights, but our guide, Eric, knew a lot, had interesting stories and was a fun and talented guy!... More
