The tour was great. Both our guide and our horse were fantastic. It made for an awesome evening and a really nice birthday present.

Arriving in Memphis at 10pm one night we saw these fairytale-like horse drawn carriages rambling the downtown area. We were instantly sold! Barney was quite well behaved and Laura went above and beyond the call of duty. She shared tidbits of history, current city affairs and pointed out great sights such as Autozone Park, the old Kress building, Hebe in... More

This was our second carriage ride with Karin and Pie and they did not disappoint. She was very accommodating by picking us up at our hotel and dropping us off when we were finished. Our daughter especially enjoyed holding/snuggling with Bella. This was a great experience and we plan to do it again.

Enjoyed a 30 min ride throughout downtown Memphis. Driver gave us just enough attention & privacy for me to enjoy a romantic surprise from the hubby. I especially liked rambling through the park next to the river.

Our visit to Memphis was greatly enhanced by a horse-drawn carriage ride around down-town. The driver was an excellent guide sharing many interesting bits of history and significance. We don't usually do "tours" when we travel but were very glad we did that one.

We are so glad you took a ride with us! one great thing about Carriage Tours here in Memphis is that they are private, and you are not forced together with any other groups. That means that each ride can be customized to your own needs. You can hear history along the way, or, if you like, just sit and... More

A trip to memphis isn't complete without a carriage ride. They are very informative and are able to recount local history in the area as well as point out must see attractions. Our guide was even as helpful to point out a few places to eat as well and some off the beaten path attractions.

We all enjoy learning a little bit of history about the places we visit, but let's be honest... it's really about the food! Downtown Memphis is full of great restaurants and they are almost all accessible by carriage. Everything from sushi to steaks, and of course, BBQ! So don't be shy, ask your carriage driver where to go to satisfy... More

Hats off to Phil, Bob, and Lulu for a lovely relaxing ride in downtown Memphis. Phil was quite informative, we learned a lot about the history of most buildings and events there.

We were met promptly at our hotel by Karin and her wonderful horse Pie. We chose an earlier evening hour long ride before dinner. We had the BEST leisurely tour from our carriage as Pie gently pulled us along while Karin narrated for us. Karin was very knowledgeable of the history of downtown, with its many older buildings, parks, and... More

One of the best things about a carriage ride is that they are relaxed and slow and leisurely. And that gives you time to really take in the sights and sounds of Downtown. Some people might think that our horses are lazy... but actually that is just the way we like it! More

I would like to thank Barney and Laura for a very nice evening ride (8-12-13) despite the weather. My husband and I were scheduled to have a carriage ride from a competitor and after being 20 minutes late I called them and asked if I could just take the carriage that was in front of us even though it wasn't... While I regret that you had problems with your reservation with another company, I am so glad that it brought you to us! And obviously you got to experience the very typical "scattered afternoon thunderstorms" that pop up so frequently in Memphis over the summer. But fortunately, they don't last too long and you got to enjoy the rest of... More
