Popped in here late afternoon for a sit down and some liquid refreshment. Sat by the open windows watching the world go by. Nice atmosphere, not overly busy but imagine it can be. Bar has over 50 beers on tap. We tried the Memphis stout Reverberation which was very good and hit the spot. We enjoyed our visit and would... More

Yes...I know this is a chain...yet, the Flying Saucer in Memphis was by far in the largest I've visited to date (the others being Nashville and Ft. Worth). The beer selection was as vast as the restaurant. However, the one item that sold a long time homebrewer like me...you get to pick your own flight (there is nothing I hate... More

Great beer selection. Knowledgeable staff happy to help and offer suggestions. Cool atmosphere and the food works well with the beer.

Over 100 beers on tap and another 150 in bottles. Wonderful beer menu with great descriptions of each beer. Comfortable atmosphere - pool, darts available. Nice location close to Peabody. Loved it!

This beer emporium is the foremost establishment for beer selection and to educate the patron on beer taste and ingredients. At the same time, the food is consistently delicious. You can have a variety of appetizers such as a melt in your mouth freshly baked huge pretzel with a kicking horseradish sauce or a more sedate cheese sauce. Or you... More

We got in there well before rush, and service should have been better. There was nobody in the place but we were ignored because we were sitting in the tap room and the majority of customers (maybe 4-5 groups) were sitting out in the multipurpose area with the windows open. We waited about 10 minutes for a Beer Goddess to... More

I used to enjoy the flying saucer. But after tonight that has all changed. The little guy walking around that is supposed to be the manager on duty, Owen, was unbelievably ridiculous. The whole entire front half of the bar and majority of the main bar were watching the game. We asked the manager to turn the sound on and... More

We loved this place. We tried the draught of the day. Enjoyed looking at all the plates on the walls and ceilings. Enjoyed the laid back atmoshpere. It was a great place to talk and relax and enjoy a great selection of beers.
