not a lot at the station but it does get you down to go look at the water, free bus turns there so you won't get lost! Very clean and up todate.. not really an attraction though

I love this place, it has a farmers market, a place to hold fundraisers, rental rooms, music performances at the farmers market, there is a train museum(small entry fee) there as well, oh and you can even catch a train there as well.

A wonderfully informative Train &Trolly museum is housed in the same building. Great exhibits, working switchboards, even Thomas the Train area for kids. Phase One completed and donations for admissions go to Phase Two.

Anyone with a passing interest in American railroads and/or social history will adore a short visit here. Although a functioning station, the place is frozen in time. The booking hall and waiting room, adorned with photos and memorabilia from an age in which the railroad boomed, are testament to American confidence in travel and trade. Loved the operator's steps up... More

Great establishment where we had enough room to eat, dance, mingle, and have a great time. It was in a great location. We had a security guard there for us. We were able to catch the trolley from this location and hang out on Beal St.

Traveled on the "City of New Orleans" to Chicago and back and had a safe and enjoyable trip! The staff were wonderful and friendly and the food was good. The train was clean and easy to move about on and the 'roomette' made it easy to sleep. Parking was easy and safe right beside the train. The terminal is small... More

We stopped here briefly on the way from New Orleans to Chicago, and I was anxious to get off and explore. Granted we only had 50 minutes, and it was 10pm, but don't let that stop you! Leave the front door and go left. On the corner is a bar that a police officer recommended, called Soul Burger. Their specialty... More

Building is set back in early 30's or earlier. Not in great part of town but I didn't hang around to see the landscape; got on my departure train to New Orleans. Had a blast. Would go again.
