Description: As artist Billy Swan sang, "Memphis Rocks!" Located in the cotton-trading...
As artist Billy Swan sang, "Memphis Rocks!" Located in the cotton-trading capital of the Delta, Memphis virtually invented blues, soul and rock 'n' roll. Once well-known for heavy gambling, voodoo, murder and prostitution, Memphis is just a hard-rocking place where you can get great food and hear hot tunes. Home to both Sun Records and Stax Records, this city has always been foremost in finding talent, and the rollicking live music scene is still kicking hard today. Maybe that's why Memphis is mentioned in more songs than just about any other city. So if you're out "Walking In Memphis" on the "Memphis Streets" and you get yourself a mean case of the "Walkin' Blues," just do the electric slide or "Memphis Boogie" right on into the Hard Rock Cafe Memphis and let us ease you into "Memphis Bliss." Our historic building, set on boogie street Beale, has done time as a recording studio and a saloon - the perfect combination for an electrifying menu that'll make you stomp and shout. Memphis was also Elvis's home, and the only place he ever felt he belonged. So come on down, y'all, for a taste of Southern hospitality and "Good Rockin' Tonight," 'cause you're bound to soon feel the exact same way. And while Elvis may have left the building (on a "Memphis Train?"), you can stay as long as you want. It's a "Memphis Thing."

A pretty nice Hard Rock Cafe...

We went to this Hard Rock Cafe so my Dad could get a shot glass, like he always does. They were very nice, even though it took a while for us to be served.

We stopped at Hard Rock to have dinner after walking around Beale street. We had two young children with us in a double stroller and worried about them being able to accommodate us because we took up a lot of room, but it wasn't a problem. We used the elevator to go upstairs and had an entire corner to ourselves.... More

We turned up early evening ... just after kicking out time at Lion King, while a NHL match was on. The Hard Rock was empty. Jerred Daniel Price was playing live on the piano; playing mainly Elton John covers and some original pieces. He was very good. It is nice to see Hard Rock with actual live music; we have... More

We love Hard Rock and Memphis was our 17th Hard Rock Cafe. The food is excellent, the staff, the music - all what you would expect from Hard Rock. Everything is quintessentially Hard Rock. Lot of Elvis memorabilia, well it is Memphis. The ceiling mural depicts the 'Forever 27 Club' and Elvis, with candles in their memory. So what is... More

Went there on Monday lunchtime for a snack and drink while visiting various attractions in the area. We were greeted at once and seated and given menus, but after that there was no one to be seen, we waited at least five minutes expecting someone to introduce themselves as our server and to ask if we wanted drinks but no... The Hard Rock Cafe is amazing in the historic Lansky Bros. building... They have amazing memorabilia throughout and the decor is great. The food was great... especially the potato skins. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will be back the next time we're in town.
