As artist Billy Swan sang, "Memphis Rocks!" Located in the cotton-trading capital of the Delta, Memphis virtually invented blues, soul and rock 'n' roll. Once well-known for heavy gambling, voodoo, murder and prostitution, Memphis is just a hard-rocking place where you can get great food and hear hot tunes. Home to both Sun Records and Stax Records, this city has always been foremost in finding talent, and the rollicking live music scene is still kicking hard today. Maybe that's why Memphis is mentioned in more songs than just about any other city. So if you're out "Walking In Memphis" on the "Memphis Streets" and you get yourself a mean case of the "Walkin' Blues," just do the electric slide or "Memphis Boogie" right on into the Hard Rock Cafe Memphis and let us ease you into "Memphis Bliss." Our historic building, set on boogie street Beale, has done time as a recording studio and a saloon - the perfect combination for an electrifying menu that'll make you stomp and shout. Memphis was also Elvis's home, and the only place he ever felt he belonged. So come on down, y'all, for a taste of Southern hospitality and "Good Rockin' Tonight," 'cause you're bound to soon feel the exact same way. And while Elvis may have left the building (on a "Memphis Train?"), you can stay as long as you want. It's a "Memphis Thing."

Chose here for late lunch/early dinner and arrived to find it very quiet. Service was very slow and after waiting a long time for our starters, were served our main meals at the same time! Consequently, a lot of the food was cold by the time we were ready to eat it and the absence of any attentive staff meant... More

We had been to the Hard rock in Nashville and expected the same high standard in Memphis. The layout for the restaurant is very odd we ended up being seated almost in the shop there. The food wasn't very hot when it arrived and part of our order was missing. We didn't bother to query this as I had previuosly... More

Have visited many Cafes in this franchise and the one in Memphis did not disappoint. Food was really good, service was excellent and the prices were fair and reasonable. The band was a little loud but to be expected in a city known for music.

My wife always wanted to visit Graceland, so I surprised her by taking her there on her 50th Birthday this past August. We stayed at the Heart Break Hotel and we enjoyed all things Elvis in and around Graceland. On the first night of our stay, the hotel shuttle took us to Beale Street so that we could celebrate some... More

Greeted by a great guy who made our visit most memorable, wonderful food, and great staff! Even though we lost a bag with camera and mini pad with photos of our trip to the Japanese American Relocation site in Rohwer Arkansas, we take happy memories of Memphis stop at Hard Rock.

Beale Street for us was not that great. Every place was flanked with people that I wouldn't want to be in darkened club with. So we headed to Hard Rock Cafe. It was better than last one we went to in Nashville. Liked the layout and food was good. Also we were seated fairly quickly. Service was very good too.

The cafe embraces the local themes with an everything Memphis mural on the outside brick wall, mural of famous area musicians over the bar and Elvis memorabilia over the stage which hosts live entertainment. They also have local beer on tap which is something we always look for.

They have moved from the bottom of beale street to the top it's smaller and doesn't have as much memorabilia as the other one had, there are some nice pictures on the ceiling.

Live music at 7 on a Wednesday! Awesome! Free valet with 25 purchase. Food is pricey. But the teenagers loved it. Located right on beal street.
