A great way to see all the music related sights you must see in Memphis. A musical tour guide, playing great guitar music and a sing-a-long (if you feel up to it, if not just use the shakers they provide so you feel part of it!). Really interesting facts and stories. You'll learn something. The bus is superb, clean with... More

I can't recommend this tour highly enough - getting to know the musical history of Memphis in a fun way just can't be beat! Eric Hughes, the musical tour guide, kept us all entertained and informed as he sang and played songs by some of Memphis' finest. Eric knows his stuff and is a wonderful host for those who want... We had a small group on our tour so it was a bit awkward to sing or play music, but our guide was great. She provided timely music and information.

Michael Flanagan weaves the stories of the exceptional set of circumstances that created a unique African American – owned business district on Beale. Events such as the June 1862 Union naval victory on the Mississippi, Reconstruction, the establishment of an African American -owned bank by a clever entrepreneur intertwined with the economics of cotton and recording technology all laid the... Although I have a hard time walking I completely enjoyed this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Memphis. We made many stops along the way so he could give us many different facts of the locations throughout the city. The best part I must say was the building on the last part of the tour. We... More

I live and work in Memphis. My husband and I took the Mojo bus tour a few years ago to see what they showed. It was so much fun that it is now my go-to tour whenever friends are in town. I've taken it a total of five times and each one has been unique and a ton of fun!... More

We had Patrick as our tour guide and he was a hoot! The tour was so much fun. There was only seven of us on the tour and Patrick showed us a fabulous time. Every story was interesting, and the walking was not too bad. I would recommend bringing some bug spray if you are on the tour during June... More

We had a fun tour of Memphis and Sun Studio on a Backbeat Tour. We boarded the bus from BB King's Restaurant on Beale Street. Our most excellent driver Luther and our guide Stunning Dunning told us about Memphis and mixed in guitar and singing as we went along on the tour. What a fun way to spend a couple... More

Tour was supposed to start at 8:30 but didn't get started until 8:50 PM. Erika was our guide who knew quite a lot of stories but she needs to project her voice more and not let it trail off. Was hard to hear her sometimes even though she had a speaker. Most of the tour was OK but didn't get... More
