What a great way to see Memphis! Our singing tour guide (Brandon Cunning) was so talented and a very engaging guide. We took the tour with our children aged 6 - 13 and they loved every minute of it. The tidbits of history and detail of the nooks and crannies of the City and the stars from Elvis to Jerry... More

Being that I am not one for touristy type stuff, I was a little bit skeptical. Since I am a musician though, my family wanted to do something that I would "be into". I was even more apprehensive when I met our tour guide, a very cute but young lady named Katherine (I believe her name was). I figured it... More

My friends and I did both of these tours while in Memphis. The Big Mojo tour was so much fun. It was very neat to see the historical sites around Memphis while being entertained by a singing, guitar wielding, tambourine supplying tour guide! We did the extended tour and so we got to go through Sun Studios. The tour guide... More

My friend and I scheduled a history tour with Michael, and we had the best time! He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and entertaining! I highly recommend one of their tours--or more than one if you have time!

Ok first Patrick our guide was awesome. He was very knowledgeable on all local activities. This walking tour takes you past a lot of history. As a added bonus we were able to go inside one of the more haunted buildings. If you like ghost walks don't hesitate to do this one.

First the Backbeat Tour company is an awesome company to do business with. I got burned on a Living Social tour from another company and Backbeat took care of it in a very professional manner. The tour was a great way to spend a night downtown. Michael was our guide and did a wonderful job in pointing out the ghost... More

Musician Nancy Apple with Backbeat Tours did a fabulous job immersing us in the amazing musical history of Memphis. She played Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, BB King, and more, and we got to see where all the greats lived and spent time. Nancy's personal stories about growing up in the Memphis music scene were a fun extra touch.

A great way to see all the music related sights you must see in Memphis. A musical tour guide, playing great guitar music and a sing-a-long (if you feel up to it, if not just use the shakers they provide so you feel part of it!). Really interesting facts and stories. You'll learn something. The bus is superb, clean with... More

I can't recommend this tour highly enough - getting to know the musical history of Memphis in a fun way just can't be beat! Eric Hughes, the musical tour guide, kept us all entertained and informed as he sang and played songs by some of Memphis' finest. Eric knows his stuff and is a wonderful host for those who want...
