We started with the monorail ride across the harbor to Mud Island and then went into the Mississippi River Museum which we thought was very good indeed, one of the best we've visited, barges, riverboats, traders, farmers, gamblers, entertainers, slaves, Indians and settlers. The 5-block long scale model of the lowe Mississippi was great! They sold little boats in the gift shop which the kids launched at the beginning and watched as they wound their way all the way down to "Louisiana." Highly recommended. more

We didn't rate it at all, the admission fee was cheap but that was the only good thing about the park. The "diner" was terrible there all that was on offer was a barely edible sub, and very weak coffee. The Missippi river was walk was OK but nothing to write home about.
