We didn't know what to expect you can just visit the island by foot or cable car or a package with the museum included. We did both the cable car & museum which are inexpensive. The place its self is great for kids and the museum was very interesting. It was really hot the day we visited but we were... More

What an unexpectedly neat and educational place! Went here to watch 4th of July fireworks and had fun learning all the scale replica river running through it. So so cool!

I was really impressed with how well done the Mississippi River replica was. You can tell they spent a lot of time on it and it looks great. Not too keen on the rest of the park it had too many kids there for my taste but it would be good if you wanted to take your kids.

Great place to take the granddaughter to cool off. She loved wading in the water and the ride on the monorail over there.

Loved this park!! There were 8 in our party, 4 kids ages 3-12. Wear your walking shoes but be prepared to take them and walk through parts of the mighty Mississippi! Very clean, laid back, safe and I would go back again gladly!

The Park is a little gem in the river. The model of the Mississippi river is really cool and educational. You can walk the model from the sources of the river down to the mouth. The park is showing signs of age, some of the benches are in rough shape and the park overall could use a little TLC from... More

The little island and the short ride over, you would think it isn't worth the time but it is. The museum is amazing they have really done a good job for the area. The person that put this all together is amazing. To see all of the Mississippi and the museum is amazing, well worth the $10.

We took my parents and we all loved the experience! We even learned some information about our own area(Western NY). The monorail ride was nice but we did not go through the museum. It was a very cool thing to be able to walk the "entire river"

It's worth taking a walk over to Mud Island River Park to see and walk in the water of the 5-block long Mississippi River model. Very cool! We paid to ride the monorail over but it would have been easier to make the 10-minute walk as the monorail sat on the platform for more than 10 minutes before leaving. We... More
