I've been to a lot of children's museums and this one is pretty good! I'd say an 8 out of 10! Not bad!

We take my 6 yr & 9 yr old Grandkids & their cousins the same age. There is so much fun things to do. They love to fly the Fed-Ex plane & to load & unload boxes to the plane. They have a grocery store with shipping carts, lots of food to put in their carts. Then when finished the... More

Took my 4 grandchildren to the New Years Countdown Ball Drop at the Memphis Children's Museum, had an absolute ball. Countdown culminated at Noon with a wild time had by all. This was my first visit, but won't be my last. Safe, Secure, Well Staffed by friendly caring staff of people. Virtually unlimited hands on projects for the kids (adequate... More

This past Sunday my plans to visit an outdoor attraction with out-of-towners were stymied by nasty, cold, rainy weather (typical for Memphis in the winter months). My guests who had kids ages 2-10 were thrilled when we discovered that the Children's Museum of Memphis opened at 9 AM. My own children are teens, but were excited to return, too. This... More

We used this as a midday activity on our drive from Jackson, MS to St. Louis, MO. It was perfect for our 18 month, 6, and 8 year old kids. We visit a lot of children's museums, and this one was pleasantly different. Usually we find lots of science based exhibits, but this museum was more career focussed. The kids... More

My young boys enjoyed this museum a lot. I had fun making paper airplanes for them so they could attempt to shoot them through the holes. A great way to spend a few hours in Memphis.

I usually pay for a yearly membership. My 5 and 7 year old love and adore CMOM. The Children Museum of Memphis is a must see for all children. It has such a wonderful and fun atmosphere. It is also a great place to plan a party. My children love to visit and can have endless fun. A very relaxing... More

Went with an active 1 & 3 year old while we were visiting Memphis. Some really fun, baby safe things to do, including the toddler area. However, the toddler area is being renovated and the flying sparks made me a little nervous, so we didn't stay there forever. The kids really loved the air circuits where you put things into... This a great way to spend a rainy or winter day. My grandson and I went in January and spent a few hours just playing with all the interactive activities. The day we went was really quiet (not a lot of kids) so we had a great time. He loved the FedEx plane that you can not only sit in... More

This is a cheaper rip off of better children's museums in other towns. There were not enough staff to properly maintain the exhibits or to supervise unruly children. The admission price is twice what other museums charge. Adults have to pay to watch their children in the splash park even if they are not participating.
