I really wanted to hate this hotel as there was so much hype about it. However, I couldn't! There are somethings that are not good-small bathrooms, funny shaped rooms, slow elevators, distant parking, crowds in the lobby-but overall the personnel are nice and attentive-although there was a lot of "oh, I'd love to help you but that is taken care... Saw this on the Travel Channel. Hotel is beautiful. Ballroom upstairs where Elvis had his prom. The Duck Palace on the roof is quite funny. Get there around 10:30 to see the ducks exit the elevator and march down a red carpet to the fountain. You can Google The Peabody Ducks and learn the history of this procession.

Friends told us about the Peabody Ducks. We arrived at the Peabody around 4:30 pm but the entire lobby and mezzanine of the hotel was filled with tourist waiting to see the ducks march. We found a spot in the mezzanine where we could get a glimpse of the show. The “duck master” narrated the history of the ducks but... More

Didn't stay at the Peabody just came along to see the spectacle that is the March of the Ducks. Get there early to get a seat close to the fountain with a view of the walkway from the lift. Red carpet goes out 30 or so minutes before it starts. The Duckmaster talks through the history of the ducks and... More

Stayed for a few days around birthday and pearl jam concert. Stayed on the club level. There were alot of extras like continental breakfast and refreshments but the quality of the room was a bit lacking, considering.

This a beautiful Older Hotel....very historic....something you would see in a movie. I did not believe it when co workers told me about the ducks....but I saw it myself. At certain times during the day the elevator door will open in the lobby and a group of ducks come marching out (no one in the elevator but the ducks) the... More

This is an historic and elegant hotel. It is very well located in Memphis and you can walk to many restaurants and all the local attractions. We really enjoyed our visit --and the ducks were great. We highly recommend staying here on a visit to Memphis!

We stayed here for two fantastic nights last week. Amazing place. Old character with first class service. Rooms are wonderful and the attention to "Duck" detail is so much fun. Duck master and duck parade was very entertaining and drew a huge crowd. Excellent rooms, excellent staff and service. would definately visit again.

We wanted to stay at this hotel when visiting but unfortunately it was fully booked so instead just visited to see the ducks come down to the fountain. It gets extremely busy and although there are people trying to direct visitors there are some people who just don't listen and push and shove. Was quite a sight to watch the... More
