We went a bit before the big duck showtime of 11:00 and go seating right by the fountain. They allowed children to get close, but would not allow standers that would have blocked the view. With a great story, and much pomp, the Ducks were a fun free show. We had mimosas and bellinis and mmmmm, mmmmm! Fun little bit... More

This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but because it is so old the bathrooms are TINY... Also, I called/ emailed several days before to make arrangements for my husband's birthday in our room and for dinner in the Capriccio Grill and was assured all would be handled. But there were no balloons at the table, no... More

Great place to see even if your not staying there. We were in the hotel for a wedding but we had something to eat there and I went to the bar. The food in the deli was great and it was not expensive and the Peabody is a 5 star hotel...

If you have never seen this before, it is very charming and fun for kids of all ages. Make sure you go to the rooftop and check out the view, as well as the ducks' penthouse suite. There is beautiful mosaic tile floor and painted elevator doors that I am pretty sure are original to this grand old hotel.

While in the lobby for cocktails before dinner, we couldn't have been treated more rudely by the waitresses there. I believe the waitstaff needs to be reminded that they are part of the staff that provides patrons with first impressions of the hotel, and as such I will never return to this hotel and most certainly won't ever consider staying... Customer service was a problem, we had to call 3 times to get the hotel information book, which should have already been in our room....they have free shoe shine, they were suppose to pick up my shoes in a short time after I called and never heard from them ...when we checked in, we were not told how to use... I was born and raised in Memphis and our family roots go deep here. The jewel in the crown for Memphis is not the Fed-Es Forum, the Pyramid, Auto Zone Park, or even Graceland. It's the Peabody. This historic hotel is not to be missed for the lobby alone. In the gorgeous lobby you can have high tea, order a... More

Going to the Peabody is like stepping back to a gentler and more genteel time in life with all of the modern day conveniences. We come to the Peabody, usually, once a year to enjoy the hotel and Memphis. The hotel is gorgeous, her staff, beyond perfection, and your experiences there...memories of a lifetime. There is nothing not to love... More

More than just a performance ... this is brilliant. The duck march, their "mansion" upstairs, the performer ... and then there's the history of it all. Very enjoyable.

This is an amazing hotel. Loved seeing the ducks every day. The staff is great. Hotel's location makes it very easy to walk everywhere in downtown Memphis. Had a great time, the people of Memphis are some of the friendliest that I have come across.
