We did not stay at the Peabody but did make the Mecca visit to the lobby (WOW how beautiful) to see the ducks. Next visit will be a cocktail at the Lobby Bar or high tea. So worth seeing. Read about the ducks history on the Peabody website, you will appreciate the visit even more.

There are those hotels that you absolutely have to say I stayed there one time! And this is one of those hotels!

The Duck March was so cute! The Duck Master gave some background on the March, so be sure to listen up. Get there no later than 4:30 to get a good spot for the evening March.

My room was ok, it was tastefully done, but very small and the bathroom was miniscule. But, it's an older hotel and I expected that. Although friends of mine had much nicer rooms with a chandelier, etc. My one complaint about the room was that it reeked of cigarette smoke. It's a non-smoking hotel, but someone clearly disregarded that. The... More

Sure it's touristy. But it's also free. go at 11:00 or 5:00 to see the ducks. They take an elevator from their rooftop home to the lobby of the Peabody at 11:00, swim in a fountain all day, and then return to the roof at 5:00. Make sure you go to the roof to see their house and great views... More

Didn't stay at the hotel, but would love to when I win the Lottery. It's a beautiful, classy building with lots to do and see inside and very well positioned in Memphis. We were taken here by the Memphis bus tour, which was a great experience altogether, but it had been a wish of mine to see the Peabody Ducks.... More

You can't miss the ducks and the lovely lobby. Go early to get a good spot to see the ducks come in. Enjoy a frosty drink while you wait. Christmas is just beautiful in the lobby.

When you enter the Peabody you will be amazed by the architecture, especially during the holidays when it is in its true glory. The Peabody Ducks and the Duckmaster always draw a large crowd, so try to get there early and get a spot. Is it amazing how ducks waddle across a red carpet and jump into a pool? No.... More

The Peabody is a living landmark, with a spectacular - and busy - lobby, especially during the famous duck walks. Rooms are rather typical - it's a hotel, okay? But, the service is impeccable, the ambience is top quality, and I recommend all of the restaurants. The finest, Chez Philippe, is a magnificent if over the top fine dining restaurant... More
