Lovely hotel, would love to stay here, step back in time. If the door is open take the elevator to the roof and see the duck penthouse (it was locked though when we went up!)

This hotel was booked because of the reviews we found on it and the hype given to it. Upon arrival we find that the accommodations are no better than any other hotel i have stayed at. Im paying 370 dollars a night just to wake up in the morning and not able to come down to lobby and have a... More

If arriving by car then either use valet parking or drop off your bags first as the self-park car park is a long walk from the lobby including stairs. The was also a foul smell in the walkway from the car park to the hotel. On arrival (c4.20pm) the hotel lobby was bursting with people waiting to see the duck... More

One our first day in Memphis we thought we better go & see the march of the Ducks. It did not disappoint. The lobby of the hotel is grand, and the perfect place to stop for a cocktail (not a cheap cocktail, but very nice all the same) and do some people watching while waiting for the ducks to make... It's like walking back in time and experiencing the sumptuous quality only 1930's -1950's eras could portray. Classic and in the higher price range, this hotel is wonderful. The Peabody ducks are a treat to watch, however don't be disappointed that they are your everyday mallards and not some special species

Went in for a little wander round the lobby and their shopping area, but also to view the famous ducks that spend their time in the lobby fountain.

A Memphis must. Ducks come down at 11am, and I would plan to be there by 10:30 at the latest. Needless to say, the place fills up quickly and good viewing places are hard to find.

We went to see the ducks, something you don't see every day and the story behind it is interesting. We sat in the lobby/bar area. Had a drink while we waited, pricey but what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The hotel itself is just beautiful, go to the top floor which is outside, this is where... More

A great event seeing the march of the Peabody ducks. Get there before and find a great place to view. We set ourselves up near elevators and saw everything. Kids have priority and sit on floor next to the red carpet.

Went about an hour early and got a table near the fountain. The atmosphere is very elegant. Order coffee or drinks while you wait. The duck march is over very quickly but is very pompous.
