Don't miss the Peabody Duck Parade

Fun place to stop and witness the parade of ducks. Lots of viewing places (we went to the balcony) and something not to be missed when in Memphis

The Peabody deserves all its accolades and stars. The facility, though built nearly 100 years ago, has be modernized without destroying its charm. The staff is most accommodating. No complaints.

We enjoyed the Ducks the Restaurant and the Shops. Great hotel to stay as it is walking distance to Beale Street. Reomment walking out the door to rent a horse carrage for a short tour of the downtown Parks.

This is an excellent older style Hotel to not only visit but to stay in as well. The craftsmanship on the ceilings and throughout the entire Hotel is excellent plus the Hotel is excellent place to stay in as well very clean with very nice rooms. Make sure you are there daily around 10:50am for the Duck Walk down from... More

We wanted to drop in to check out the ducks and we stayed for 5 hours. We slept at the Doubletree and decided that next time we are in Memphis, we will stay at the Peabody. It is beautiful. The Duckmaster, Doug, gave us a private tour of the hotel. What amazing music history in this place. Thank you Doug.... More

Such beautiful hotel, packed full of rich history and culture. My husband and I stayed overnight here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the spa, the bars and the Capriccio Grille restaurant. My husband booked the romance package, which included a suite room with flowers and chocolate along with breakfast and valet parking. Love the atmosphere of this hotel, it is... More

We stopped to see the famous Peabody Ducks! The venue is very crowded, but I felt honored to see such a cute and silly tradition. I heard that the ducks are treated very well and are replaced every so often so they are not prisoners for life. They seem to enjoy all the attention they get in the fountain.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails while awaiting the march of the ducks out of the fountain and back to their abode up high. It was delightful! Many children also were able to enjoy!

Ducks parading to a fountain on red carpet? Um, rrright. Whatever. It's a great looking lobby with lots of charm and character. Neat shops and if you like ducks, this is a place for you! The ducks get treated better than the guests!

It's the Peabody Hotel. Enough said. Dinner was outstanding....would definitely take my wife out again there. The New Years Eve party was ok. Almost Famous was there this year, but didn't start playing until very late into the evening. Would have preferred an hour earlier. Not enough seating for everyone when they are in between dancing. And getting a drink... More
