On our trip from santa Monica to Charolett, we stopped in Memphis. After cheap smelly chain hotels we treated ourselves to a night at the Peabody. What a great place super comfortable bed friendly staff, convenient location, even a great gym! And don't forget the Ducks! Next time you're in Memphis do yourself a favor and stay at the Peabody!

The kids had seen the ducks on TV so they wanted to seem them in person. Get there early so you get a good spot. Afterwards we had a reservation for Sunday brunch in their restaurant. It is expensive but very well worth it. The selection of food is vast. Everything that we had was fabulous. Not sure a reservation... More

I did not stay here but visited the hotel to watch the famous ducks march and enjoy a cocktail in their foyer. The pianist was a great addition to the experience. The Duckmaster marches the ducks from the lift to the foyer fountain every morning at 11am and in reverse at 5pm. Their home is on the rooftop and definitely... More

This is worth doing if you are in the area it does not last long but is a great tradition. The hotel lobby is worth seeing plus views from the top.

For Memphis, this is a nice place to stay. Close to Beale street and FedEX Arena. Being an older hotel, the amenities were not the best. The bathrooms are so small, I really don't know how a tall person can navigate the toilet, being so close to the bathtub. Plus, for a woman, there is no counter space. The lobby... More

One block over from Beale street.....Ideal location for some of the main attractions in Memphis. Checked in late first night and room right beside the lift....it clanked and clattered for an hour so we asked reception if there was another room and we were upgraded to a suite. Room lovely, lots of nice touches like bath mat, toilet paper, pillow... More

The South's grand hotel! Arrived early morning and able to check in immediately - always a plus! The room was great, absolutely enormous and very nicely furnished. We ate breakfast in the hotel during our stay and would highly recommend this - not too expensive and great service. Everyone visiting the hotel has to see the famous duck parade and... More

This hotel is gorgeous. We didn't get to stay here but came by a couple of times to shop and watch the duck parade. They do a great job of getting you hyped to see some mallard ducks enter their fountain very day at 11 am. At 5 pm the ducks exit to their suite. Very cute. It's a good... More

The Lobby Bar is a comfortable place where one can sit on sofas and plush chairs. The ornate ceiling with its intricate detailing is definitely a sight. At 5 P.M., the ducks parade, and you can enjoy a cocktail as you watch the show. Service is impeccable. Nice touch--the bathroom paper napkins are engraved with the Peabody insignia!

We go to Memphis every year for the Southern Cotton Ginners Association convention and always stay at the Peabody Hotel. All the rooms have been refurbished- and our room was lovely. The lobby is a great place for social gatherings. Love love love the ambiance.
