We don't usually spend this much on hotels but think we found some deal. Plus it was around the holidays. This hotel has a ton of history and of course, seeing the Peabody Ducks was something we would have stopped here to see on it's own. It was my wifes birthday and asked if they could do something for her.... More

We did not stay here but, we always go down to the Peabody whenever we visit Memphis. It's the happening place to be anytime. We love to go to the bar and have a drink and just people watch. it's also great fun to see the Peabody Ducks either come down in the morning or go back up in the... More

The duck march is too crowded for me, but the Peabody is THE place to be on Halloween and has some of the best restaurants in Memphis (but don't waste your time or money on the brunch).

You've got to go see the ducks because for no longer than the whole event takes, it's so worth it. They are the neatest little guys and the story is pretty super too. They allowed kiddos to sit on the floor on either side of the red carpet as long as they kept body parts off the carpet so they... More

This is s beautiful old hotel and each day at 9am the red carpet is rolled out and a parade of ducks come down in the lift and cross the reception area to spend the day in the water fountain then at 5pm the carpet is rolled out and they go back up in the lift. Its worth seeing you... More

We walked over to the Peabody to watch the famous marching ducks leave the lobby fountain at 5:00 p.m. It was incredibly crowded, as we had expected, so it was difficult to find a place where you could see the ducks. It's a funny custom which should be seen at least once when in Memphis!

The Peabody Hotel is a throwback to the luxurious hotels of the 1930's. Over the years it has kept its charm and Southern type atmosphere. It is a complete experience from the parade of ducks from the elevator to the fountain in the middle of the lobby herded by a most coveted position of the Duck master to the expertise... More

Everyone said to go watch the ducks march at the Peabody. So we did. Five ducks got out of the fountain and walked to the elevator. Not exactly thrilling. Don't bother.

We stopped in here on a recent stop in Memphis, just to see the famous ducks! The hotel lobby is beautiful and I wished we had stayed here. The ducks were fun to see and the people watching was great. It would be a great place to stop and have a drink and just take in the traffic. Very fun!
