The art work, the architectural iron work, gates, fences, etc. are lovely. The museum store is good for unique items. The foundary was in operation during our visit so that's intresting. Located right on the MS river so good views too.

We stopped in to see the demonstrations they had going on. The grounds are small with two buildings and then the shop in the back. It's small but for the price totally worth it. You can also see the river right from the grounds. The blacksmith apprentice was really engaging with my young son and more then happy to answer... More

This small museum, located in a historic home, is a great surprise. The small collection is carefully curated and shows a breath of metal applications for its size. The evocative bronze, "Dressing Miz Eve" buy Preson Jackson is stunning. As separate building houses a working foundry where craftsmen demonstrate how hot metal is hammered into tools and sculpture. There is... More

Cool place to visit for something different. Two teenagers weren't very impressed but, hey, they are teenagers. They rated it a 2 while the parents rated 3-4. Glad we went just to say we did.

This was a neat little place, a little out of the way but worth it. The museum was nice, but the best part was the demonstrations, the guy was knowledgeable and it was interesting watching him form a hook and how he did the different elements. Worth a trip, try if you can to make the demonstrations at 2:30 and... More
