We have had ribs in many places in Memphis over the six years we have visited there. BB Kings Blues Club is our number one place to consistently get wonderful ribs. They are located downtown and it's hard not to enjoy the atmosphere of where it is located. The restaurant plays BB King music via CD, if there isn't a... More

The food was great, strong drinks and amazing local talent! Worth a stop when you are on Beale Street. I recommend the catfish po boy. Better than any other!

B.B. King’s Blues Club serves up great barbecued ribs and great blues in a friendly environment, where families feel free to dance. We were fortunate to hear the excellent music of bluesman Preston Shannon and his band the day we were there. The club is a fitting tribute to the late B.B. King.

Initially we were a bit dubious about this bar/ restaurant as we needed to pay $5 each entrance for the live music and there were no tables readily available, but we paid up and sat at the bar to await a table. The Bar Drinks were very reasonable by U.S. Standards and the service was very quick, despite it being... More

Beale Street and everything about it thanks to BB King, is pure delight. Just add a "Big Beer." The entire Beale street is totally worth a trip to Memphis. BBQ? Optional. Rendezvous? Check. But that's another review. Do NOT miss the Gibson Guitar factory tour! BB King's is even more refined than the BB King's in NYC, near where I... More

Visited on a Satyrday night, party of 8, had a few drinks at bar then went to table for food, excellent ribs and salad and fries. BB Kings all star band on stage for 2 sets really good, professional and polished. Highly recommend.

Went there to check it out. Very busy spot, and I can see why! Great atmosphere, great food, great service, great live music, reasonable prices. I had the fried catfish...yummy! Will definitely return!

Didn't expect it to be so busy on a Wednesday night, but per our server it's always packed! This was our first time to Memphis and we enjoyed the food and drinks. Although our server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Just a tip, don't plan on making an online reservation with open table and expect it to be in their system... More

Beale Street is looking less enticing each time I visit but B.B.King's still remains a must do - always crowded, always enjoyable with great music.

It's crowded. Know that going in. It's always crowded. But they don't skimp on drinks, the food is quite good and the prices are reasonable. Still, despite my love of their deep-fried pickles, what brings me back is the always stellar set of bands playing. A must see in Memphis. #2 after Graceland.
