I love coming to the Orpheum Theater. This time I saw Pippin. It is a good play but the curtain hung to low to see the whoe stage for those im the lower amd upper gallery. All ticket holders should be able to see the stage completely.

Beautiful, Historic and great staff! We saw Kristen Chenoweth and enjoyed every second. Do NOT sit higher than the second seating area. We sat nearly as high as you can get- it was awkward to get to (several staircases and not all together) and Do Not sit near the isle as it has some weird ramp thing and your legs... More

We chose seats on the upper deck and regretted we didn't spend more money to get tickets closer to the stage.

The Orpheum is home to many top quality traveling tours of plays that appear on Broadway. I have seen a number of great performances including Wicked, the Million Dollar Quartet, Mama Mia, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat to name a few. It isn't exactly Broadway but is affordable and the décor is classically elegant. This is a good... More

My wife and I moved to Memphis nearly two years ago and looked forward to our first visit to the Orpheum Theatre. Last night we attended the Nora Jones concert. The seating was so uncomfortable we were unable to stay for the entire concert and had to leave without seeing most of Miss Jones performance. There is so little leg... More

This is a beautiful facility that brings in Broadway musicals, well- known comedians, singers, and entertainment of all types. The Orpheum has been restored to its 1930s beauty, but it is fully modern in sound, stage and staff. In the summer there are classic movies shown on a huge screen. A visit to Memphis would not be complete without seeing... More

No food is serveed so you will have to eat before or after the shows. Parking is not great but plenty of paid parking in the Downtown Memphis area within 5 to... More

Nothing is cooler than seeing little girls dressed up like Cinderella holding their dad's hand and squealing in excitement just as the curtain goes up. I highly recommend that you find a cool family (age-appropriate) show and introduce your kids to the theater. My dad took me to Fiddler on the Roof when I was little, and it impacted me... More
