We saw Crosby, Stills and Nash here. It is a small venue, 2400 people but a great place to see a concert. The theater is rich with history.

This great old attraction is splendid. A "must see" for it's elegance and grace. It is a historical site and close to so much. If you don't have enough time to tour it or take in some entertainment, then I suggest you take a trolley ride through the "loop" and at least ride by. It's nice outside, too!

The Orpheum is a beautiful old theater. We were there during Elvis Week for the Ultimate ETA Competition, and the screening of "That's the Way it Is" -- the acoustics were good, the building interior is beautiful. I appreciated the restroom facilities downstairs for women, with many many stalls and employees there to assist with keeping the line moving!

We saw Ray Lamontagne here at the end of July and sat in the circle. The theatre is unbelievably beautiful. I have never seen anything like it on quite such a scale. The seating is beautiful and the framing of the stage is magnificent. The entrance to the theatre is authentic and grand, a great place to have a drink... More

Lovely old Theatre. Has a lot of history. You can see plays as well as movies. Staff very friendly and helpful. It can be a little chilly so a light jacket may be needed.

The Orpheum is a beautiful well kept historical theater in downtown Memphis. Went there for the Ultimate Elvis contest 2 nights and the sound was spot on. Seats are very close and tight but it adds to the ambiance of the theater. If I lived there I would definitely be a member to go see shows there.

My husband, brother and sister-in-law and I had the opportunity to visit the Orpheum theater for the first time. When you are in downtown Memphis around the Beale Street area you never know what you are going to find when you enter a facility there. We were attending the semi-final competition round for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. I... More

We watched the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists. It was an amazing show and difficult job for the judges as all 10 Elvis impersonators were fantastic. Great view from our mezzanie seats; however, D201 had a broken brace and the loose screw cut my leg. I showed this to the seat hostess and hope she'll contact maintenance to fix the seat.

Such a great theatre restored to the way it used to be. We seen Elvis: That's The Way It Is during Elvis Week which was excellent. The only suggestion is bigger seats.

I had heard that the Orpheum was a nice theater, but I didn't realize how opulent it really was until I visited myself. You feel like you step back in time to the gilded age of the robber barons. While the seats are sort of crowded and moving about from a center of an isle is difficult, it's easily overlooked... More
