We love to take out of town friends to a show at the Orpheum after watching the duck march at Peabody hotel! It takes you back to a gentler time!

I love the Orpheum! It's a beautiful theatre in the old southern style. Their line up is top notch. It's always a special treat to attend.

Joined - somewhat hesitantly - my SO for "Clue". What en event! Fantastic start, with a "live" murder mystery as a teaser, a fun movie, a fantastic and beautiful venue and an enthusiatic crowd. I would definitely go again!

Great plays, singers, and other acts are booked here. It is located in downtown Memphis, just a couple of blocks from the Mississippi River. It is also an easy walk to Beale Street for before theatre or after theatre entertainment/meals.

I attended a movie event 'Clue' July 10th. The pre movie event was a murder mystery - all could guess who the murder was and prizes were drawn before the movie. Beautiful theatre, comfortable seats, drinks, treats and a cheerful audience. It was a perfect warm up before hitting the blues in Beale street. I will join another event tonight,... More

There are no words to explain how wonderful this place is! The venue is gorgeous and nicely upscale. You would not feel out of place coming here with either kids or a significant other. Dress is most Sunday best. It also helps that you choose a good play/musical to watch as well. I will definitely go back here!

Absolutely beautiful theatre. My husband and I saw Wicked and it was phenomenal. We have seen several shows on Broadway, NY and this is MUCH better than some of the theatres there! I received season tickets for a birthday gift and Phantom is next on the list. I am so looking forward to seeing all the 2014-2015 shows

My husband and I saw the Book of Mormon here, our first time in the theatre. It is a beautiful venue, full of history. There are a few negatives to note, but they do not take away from the fact that attending a show here would be a treat for any local or visitor to Memphis. The staff was clearly... More

The Orpheum is a Memphis treasure -- with a great selection of Broadway tours every season in a stunningly restored theatre, we couldn't ask for better! We most recently saw "The Book of Mormon" and enjoyed it immensely! Phantom is next in our ticket line up, not counting a few of the Summer Movie Series offerings -- the Grease singalong... More
