The theater was beautiful inside, large and ornately decorated in gold and red. Don't know how old the theater is, but was a grand old theater in its day.

What a beautiful venue; intimate, comfortable, not a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are great and we had such an amazing time, it doesn't hurt that Santana is truly one of the greatest artists of our time...........

The Orpheum is a seemingly small, intimate venue, but in fact it seats almost 2500 people. It retains it original beauty as an historic venue and is very well maintained, well staffed and in excellent condition. Whether for a concert, play or other theatre event it is certainly one of the best, if the not the best, venue in Memphis.... More

Came here to see a broadway. The theater is beautiful, the staff was very nice. They sell refreshments and snacks. The place is clean, even the bathrooms. The reasons I'm giving a lower rating is the seating. Ours were in the lower balcony, you can see the stage just fine, but after sitting for so long the seats become very... More

I was here to watch the So You Think You Can Dance auditions. The theater is beautiful. Years ago I attended some events here and it has been nicely preserved. The ushers we saw were very cordial.

We're originally from NY, so have seen many Broadway shows, and this was as good as any-we saw The Lion King. Exquisite and exciting. Ordered tickets online in advance so got great seats.

The architecture of the theatre was beautiful and it was interesting to look around the theatre. We were in the balcony and they were OK to good seats. There is basically no room between your knees and the seatback in front of you, but understand given that it is an old theatre. We were there to watch The Lion King.... More
