I spent my family holidays here as a child and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The beach is beautiful, as is the whole surrounding area. This is also where the early 80's film "local hero" was filmed, as I was there!

Beautiful clear water and white sand...what more could you want!? The road to get there takes you past some lovely views too if you take the scenic route through Arisaig village.

Oh wow, drove up from beautiful Arisaig thinking 'it can't get any better' and there is a small car park at Camusdarach Beach, park up, walk over the little bridge, through the foliage protecting the sand dunes, and shortly you will see the most amazing stretch of white sands and stunning coastal scenery where mountains meet the sea in every... This was our first ever camp and I am happy to say that the spot we chose was perfect to begin our experience. My kids enjoyed the beaches, rock pools and lovely walks over the sand dunes. The sand sparkles and the water is crystal clear. The camp site was really wonderful and the family that run the place are... More

Camusdarroch beach is a hidden pearl of Mallaig. It's a 500 meter stretch of purest white sand beyond the grassy dunes. There's a car park and then a walk of about half a mile to the beach. Great for a day out by the sea or an evening stroll to catch the sunset. There are rocks to explore at the... More

For our first day in Scotland after an 8 hour journey from the south of england, we went to the Camusdarach Beach. WOW WOW WOW! I had read online that the west coast of Scotland had some stunning beaches and this was one of the best ones but was tricksy to find. I really wanted to see this supposed white... More

Perfect for kids, Great beach for ball games, paddling in the sea. We were fortunate it was a beautiful sunny day. Top tip - it's not the turn off for Arisaig! Take the next turn off heading towards Mallaig.
