Spent last week on the Isle of Mull and was disappointed in the cafe's , coming home on Saturday called at Luss visitor centre, what a difference, lovely selection of cakes, wonderful winter veg soup with herb cheese scone and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Why can't more cafe's in Scotland be like this? Maybe I'm spoilt as... More

We called in for a light lunch on our first day in Luss. The choice for lunch was either homemade soup or a sandwich. There were two choice of sandwich, and whilst both mine and my husbands food was tasty, we both would have preferred a wider choice. On the plus side, there was a good selection of homemade cakes,... Stopped off here for a cup of tea, when in Loch Lomond for the day. Nice clean tearoom/cafe, staff pleasant and welcoming. However the prices are quite steep. For 2 teas and a 4finger pack of shortbread it was £6.50. Now I can see that the shortbread would probably be overpriced, but £2 for a pot of tea for one... More

A boat trip or a walk around this tiny village which brings back the past. There are a few places to eat, shops, a beautiful church, hotel, tiny houses with beautiful gardens and surrounding forest if you enjoy a walk. We sat in the fields for a while to enjoy the stillness of the place.

The visitor center has a lot of brochures plus a big touch screen monitor which tells you all the information you need to know about the local and nearby areas and it's easy to navigate for more information about a point of interest. We found it's particularly helpful.

Our first stop on a day tour. It's such a sweet wee place. The little cottages are beautifully kept, and the gardens are lovely. We had a nice walk through.
