There's not a lot in Luss except fab views and walks, yet it has a pub, a couple of shops a post office and a great visitor centre. The food is simple, but welcome .. We had lentil an pearly barley vegetable broth service in large rustic enamel bowls with a herb and cheese scone. I'd go back for that... More

This was a quick stop early in the morning and not much time to see much else. The name of "Luss" is worth reading about.

Always a good rest point on a long drive. Plenty of parking, toilets etc. Short walk to the Loch bank - stunning views - it really is a great photo opportunity from this park of the bank. Good place to picnic or walk the dogs.

The bird sanctuary - don't miss it. Plenty to see, plenty to do, good parking facilities, take a trip on the Loch, walk miles surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. Heaven?

Luss, Scotland is a pleasure to explore on the shores of Loch Lomand. Beautiful lanes, well-kept stone homes, and classic English cottage gardens.

Beautiful Luss, located on the shores of Loch Lomond, is the ancestral home of Clan Colquhoun (Calhoun). For those who have Colquhouns in their family tree, this lovely village and the Luss Visitor Centre are a must see. The Visitor Centre is a welcoming place. The friendly staff can answer your questions and give you advice on what to see... More

It was a flying visit, but what we saw looked very interesting. Clear local history and wildlife given.
