This is an amazing natural phenomenon. Water rushes in torrents over and between rocks below the bridge. Interesting watermill at one side.

We visited in July, so there was quite a large area of exposed rocks that permitted a good exploration of the falls. The sign boards there were very informative and interesting. Sufficiently satisfied with the exercise from the rock jumping, we then sat and relaxed and watched the falls and the whirlpools and eddies and listened to the rushing waters... More

Sat with our feet in the river for a good 4 or 5 hours, didnt want to leave. Killin itself is also beautiful and a lovely pub right next to the falls.

and the bridge and the mill and the burial ground, all in the centre of Killin. Don't miss it - they are well worth the trip on their own and definitely make for a great detour from the main road (A85).

A great place to sit, climb, picnic, and people-watch. The falls are enchanting and meditative. When I was there, several young boys were climbing the rocks and having a fun time, which was fun to watch.

I was a little disappointed with the falls as I had expected a waterfall falling from some height, but these falls are not like that, they are quite wide and fall gradually. However, they are pretty and worth seeing and you don't have to pay to see them, they are just by the roadside.

Fantastic waterfall. A must see & it`s free. Best when in spate & on a sunny day, which is a contradiction in Scottish weather.!

Climbed around the falls with our kids (ages 7 & 10) and had a great time. Picturesque place with a little bit of adventure but safe for a family.

The Falls of Dochart run through the small town of Killin, the famous white waters of the Falls of Dochart can be viewed from the village’s bridge. Admire the misty spray rising in the air as the waters of the river crash into the rocks then flow around the Islands of Inchbuie, known as the traditional and ancient burial place... More

This is a beauty spot situated on the outskirts of Killin. As the name indicates, it is a set of falls, the water falls are not down sheer faces, more like a tumble between rocks as they weave into town. Access is via steps running from the road down onto the rocks. There are signs, access at your own risk... More
