We spoke to Mark down at the boat hire and decided to give it a whirl. What a great way to see Loch Lomond!! With my wife and 4 year old boy in tow, we were given first rate service by Mark who gave us all the instruction needed before setting off on our adventure. The fuel was topped up,... More

We booked a 2hr sailing taster trip. The boat was great and we found the instructor, Mark, excellent and amusing company. The scenery is just amazing and as powerboat owners ourselves, the tranquility and grace of being under sail had not been appreciated by us until now. Mark involved us in workings of the sails and also gave us a... More

Just got back from a 4 hour hire. First impressions were a bit off putting (couldn't find them and then the visitors advice centre wasn't sure) arrived and found them working out of a cupcake van. The boat then needed to be fuelled up and checked etc.. After talking us through the do's, don'ts and "never ever ever do's" the... More

I had booked an hours use of a powerboat as a treat for my boyfriend. We arrived and (16th feb) the guy who welcomed us and showed us how to use the boat was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. We had a little trouble getting the boat to start and he made sure everything was fine and assured us that... More

We arrived on the off chance whilst staying at Milgavie. After a little wait, they managed to fit us in for an hour on a boat. My dad has always wanted to do this. We were all kitted up with the safety equipment and given instructions on how to manage the boat. The boat could have been faster but clearly... More

We rented a boat - I think it was $20 for an hour. They could have charged more frankly. Had a great time. Follow the map they give you - they mean it about those rocks near the island!

Hired an orange boat this time for 2 hours, with my husband and 6yr old son, its a more basic boat than the white premium boat we hired last time, no cushioned seats, it sits lower in the water and it's not as fast , but this didn't matter to us as we just wanted to take our time and... More

We received full instructions on how to handle the boat and safety features. We were given a map of the loch and shown the safe areas to go. Customer service was brilliant, the gentleman was very friendly. Although it was a cold day we wrapped up warmly and very much enjoyed the hour ride. We used a groupon voucher for... More

Hired a premium boat here today for an hour which cost us £40. Got our life jackets on and headed to the boat. We were showen the ropes and showed all the equipment and then we were off. Boat didnt cope well in big waves off larger boats on the loch causing us to be soaked right through to our... More

Booked this for a friends birthday and although the boat experience itself was good, when we were coming back to shore the wind took the boat slightly off course of the jetty and as we approached the shore - very slowly by the way - the incredibly unhelpful guy that was standing at the jetty watched us (whilst chatting to... Thank you for your review. We do provide customers with a familiarisation and safety handover prior to departure at which stage we advise customers how to depart from the landing jetty, to follow the bouyed channel and how to stay clear of shallow water. The hire agreement is very similar to one that you would sign when hiring a car... More
