It was a great venue for a show. The seating set up is so-so. I recommend bringing your own chair and snacks.

Had a great time on this tour. We like caves -- touristy caves that one can walk upright -- and this is a very nice one. Tour guide was excellent, personable, and knowledgeable. It's a well developed cave that's easy to walk... big wide paths, well lit, easy to navigate. This cave is private property. There's a flag flying out front,... More

We just got back from our day trip to Cumberland Caverns. What a great place to visit! The cave was stunningly beautiful, the tour was great (the guide was very professional and entertaining!) Its a pretty long tour, so you really get your moneys worth! The facilities were very well kept up---didnt feel like a tourist trap like so many... More

We were there on a Wednesday at opening. There was not a crowd & only 5 in our tour group. This made for extra time & a relaxed walking trip. NOT government owned & regulated & this is a GOOD thing. This makes for a more personal & relaxing experience & not the "Sterility" one comes to expect at "places... More

My 2 friends and I did the parts unknown tour. Our tour guide was awesome. Nice guy and funny. Be prepared to get dirty and wear some good hiking boots. I've never gone into a cave before, so to do this tour was really out of my comfort zone. I would definitely go back! Definitely worth every penny.

I visited Cumberland Caverns about 20 years ago, and just went back this year. I can't believe I waited that long, it was better than I remembered. There are lots of lovely formations on every turn. There are quite a few stairs, so if you are really out of shape you may be doing a little huffing and puffing. The... More

I hadn't been there in years but it was still awesome! Prices for tours were up quite a bit but I wasn't going to drive that far and not see it. My guide said they are phasing out the old caveman logo. That's sad, it was a memory of all the scout trips when I waswas a kid. My guide... More

The majority of your tour are areas that were blasted out of the rock. The actual number of cave formations is extremely low compared to other cheaper caves I have been in. The tour brings you back out the same way you went in, It claims to be a 90 minute cave tour, but you lose 25 minutes walking to... More

Here's what bothers me the most about this cave. It costs $19/adult to get in ($12 for kids) and just isn't that spectacular. There are some interesting cave formations and larger rooms but we have seen many other caves that are better and cost far less. In fairness, they do have a "family pacakge" that costs $55 for two adults... More
