I have been to Cumberland Caverns several times throughout my life to do the casual walking tour. Great way to spend the weekend, and staff is always informative/friendly. Definitely recommend if in the area.

If you like caves you will like Cumberland Caverns. The guide (Brian) was exceptional and very knowledgeable and interesting. The walk was a little rough at times but very manageable. My ife was very impressed. We would visit the caverns again in a few years. Gift shop, Clean bathrooms(old) and fairly priced.

Went there for the concert, Time Jumpers. Hope to go back soon. It is a very long walk from parking to concert hall. Good thing I am a healthy senior citizen or could not have made it.

Thank you for your comment. Our employees work hard to make your visit with us enjoyable. Even though there is a bit of a walk to get to the Volcano Room, I know your concert experience made it worth the trip. We hope to see you back soon. More

Participated in an event at Cumberland Caverns hosted by the Creation Musuem: Buddy Davis concert, meal, cave tour and spelunking. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience but especially found thrilling our first experience at spelunking. Definitely want to do that again! Thanks to the folks at Cumberland Caverns and the Creation Museum for a wonderful family weekend adventure!

I found the pamphlet while in downtown Nashville and wanted to visit. My husband reluctantly drove the almost 2 hour trip. Unfortunately I did not realize this was privately owned and was concerned about safety issues. There is a portion where you must go down some very steep steps and passage way and there were hardly any rails to hold... More

If you've never been in a big cavern this is a great one. Has huge stalagmite & stalactites. I love the history where during the civil war after it was over they found both Yankees & Rebels living together in these caves. People seen smoke coming out of the ground & had to let them know the war was over.... More

This place is a whole networks of caves in McMinnville, TN. I didn't expect it to be this elaborate. I think it was a great experience a good place to take the kids. It's a bit chilly, having poor access to the sun.

We visited a few weeks ago with a group of 100 kids and the guides were very accomodating and made it very easy to take the kids around. They did a great job explaining the history of the caverns and the unique formations in each area.

The caverns were great. There is some really great history here. It was cool to here the history of the two areas of the caverns being dug out and connected to each other. It definitely took a while to get here from Nashville, and the place is off the beaten path in McMinnville. I coupled this with visiting Rock Island... More
