This is a great place for kids to go for field trips! I hadn't been since I was in 3rd grade, and it was still just as good as I remembered. Our tour guide was AWESOME!! He gave us so much interesting information about the cave. The kids seemed to really enjoy hearing the history as well. They also LOVED... More

Beautiful Caverns. We were there to see @IIITymeOut @BluegrassUnderground located inside the cave. The store was a bit disappointing, having expected more than two T-shirt choices. I wanted a hooded jacket and a blue jean shirt neither of which they had. Our wait was quite long, having waited an hour after suggested arrival time, and another hour wait at the... More

It was a good field trip. 7 year olds and up enjoyed it. I wouldn't take children younger than that. It is a good tour to take. There is a lot of walking and some places are slick so wear good shoes. Facilities are clean and the tour guides are very knowledgeable of the cave. Eating lunch in the cave... More

We enjoyed the tour thru the caverns. Our guide was young and full of energy( wish we could remember her name, she had shoulder length hair, dark brown). It was nice that we had a small group. We would recommend it to everyone.

This was a cool place to visit ! Really nice staff and fun tour guides. The gift shop was well stocked and the bathrooms were a little scary but not awful.

First off Bluegrass a Underground is simply amazing! It is an experience of a lifetime! If you get the chance to go - go! The cave tours during the PBS sessions was very short, but the concert experience is fantastic! The only thing I would add is to bring a seat cushion. It would have made tons of a difference!... We had a great time! Wonderful experience throughout the caverns. Our guide was great. He knew what he was talking about and kept it fun and had us laughing. Great family experience!

This is the 3rd or 4th time we've visited this cavern. I did an overnight adventure as a child, did the standard walking tour with family a few years ago, did the overnight adventure in 2012, and did the overnight adventure once again this month. This is a neat experience - we've primarily brought our scout units to spend the... More

This is a beautiful and interesting cave that is worth going off the beaten track a bit to visit. It has several large rooms and some quite large and impressive formations. It has a couple of features that you are not likely to see in another show cave, including a very large and ornate antique chandelier from a New Jersey... More

Seven in our tour from one year old to over 60. The daily walking tour was well lit and there are enough stops that no one got winded. Our guide was a young man(about 19 yrs old). He was full of information about the cave history and the surrounding area even though he had not lived in the area very... More
