This is located 700 feet below ground in a cave at the Volcano Ball Room. It is 55 degrees all year long. Not handicapped friendly. You have to walk to the entrance of the cave, and then walk down to the performing area. They also have tours of all types to the cave itself. It is one of the most... More

Our group had a wonderful time. We took a couple college students with us who absolutely loved it. I researched the artists on "You Tube" prior to purchasing tickets, it helped us decide who we wanted to hear. Not all artist who perform in the cave are "bluegrass." People were dressed in a little of everything from shorts to blue... More

Our entire group had an enjoyable evening in the cave. We had a BBQ dinner catered and everyone was impressed with the atmosphere and the giant chandelier! The manager, Teddy, was personable and very knowledgeable.

We were fortunate to see @IIIrdTymeOut play. The acoustics are awesome, the color changes created a peaceful ambiance. Highly recommended, and we will definitely go again. #Bluegrass @BluegrassUnderground

Not necessarily Bluegrass but definitely Underground. Great show. Small venue and entertainers come and go through the crowd making it more intimate. But the show is secondary to the venue....The Volcano room at Cumberland Caverns is an absolutely marvelous place to hear music. Second only to Red Rocks in Denver as a place where the venue makes the concert special.... More

This has been a definite bucket list item. I have spent the night in the cave and taken the wild tour with cub scouts, but never attended a concert. After missing the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band this summer, I decided I needed to somehow get to a concert this year. Wow! Kenny Loggins, Gary Burr, and Georgia Middleman, who make... More

On vacation from the UK, arrived without booking but still managed to get two tickets. Huge space to hold a concert and the music was superb, not to mention the acoustic. Really glad we went.

I absolutely loved Bluegrass Underground. My husband and I took our 8 &4 year olds, and it was awesome. The kids loved playing in the dirt; it was very dirty/dusty. The tickets are high but worth it. It’s hard for us to justify going often, but the acoustics are phenomenal!! I loved the show and the atmosphere. It was very... More

Ok let me first say the show and the surroundings would have been a wonderful experience BUT.... At the cost of 140.00 for two tickets it is absolutely not worth it when you cannot get a seat even with a distant view. The seats are suppose to be general admission or bring your chairs which we did and we arrived early...
