Brilliant driver, very smooth journey and considerate to other road users, particularly the cyclists. This is nice to see given the poor driving standards that we sometimes witness. Great way to spend an hour and a half and we saw lots of places that we would never have seen otherwise. Good value and you can use the ticket for any... More

We were lucky enough to have Paul guide us round Bute, an experience to cherish. If you have a day on Bute, this is a nice simple way to see bits of the island and you can get off and on, which I didn't, but would consider next time to spend a bit of time away from Rothesay for a... More

We went on the Open top Bus Tour on our second day. It is well worth the money. An hour and a half for the tour, very friendly driver and very informative. It was one of the highlights of my stay.

A very picturesque island well worth a visit. Rothesay is quiet plenty of eateries and seats for viewing the loch. Mini golf is an attraction. Visit the stately home the magnificent chandeliers and chapel. The ferry runs frequently to the mainland.

Did an open top tour of the island of bute. Quite expensive £9 adult, £7 concession but get £1 discount vouchers from the discovery centre before you get on the bus. You get to see all round the island and good photos can be taken from the top deck. Very friendly driver.

Scenery, and the house at Mount Stuart not to be missed (unique} This house is like no other stately home I have visited, and appealing as it is still a family home. We travelled on the ferry from Dunoon, and once you get t6o Bute it is so atmpospheric

Loved this tour, driver was great, loved the music. Weather could have been less misty but well worth the money.

the house was beautiful, interesting and the grounds were stunning. Would recommend a visit it has a coffee shop and walks in the grounds, unfortunately the gift shop was closed due to refurb but this did not spoil the enjoyment of the visit.

Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and very friendly people. Fantastic place to visit. Really enjoyed the Waverley steam boat which was a brilliant experience and is a must for anyone visiting the islands.
