The Angus Glens have so much to offer people of all walks of life. They are a series of glens that lead to somewhere, lead to nowhere, but most of all lead to heaven. We have driven, walked and roamed these glens for more than 25 years and each of them has its own character. Glen Clova is our favourite... More

I recently visited one of my favourite regions in Scotland - Glen Isla, part of the Angus Glens region of east Scotland. Magnificent views, Stunning scenery, Amazing stillness and quiet, combined with a visit and walk along Backwater Dam and finally to Peel Farm Cafe to refresh the system. I find it difficult to equal this experience to refresh my... More

I feel truly blessed to live near an area of such outstanding beauty! There is so much to see up the Angus glens and an array of lovely cafes to stop at and taste the local treats!

Every one should experience the beauty of Glen Clova, Every season shows off the natural beauty of this closed Glen. The river South Esk in the heart of the glen is a haven for wild life and the majestic salmon and sea trout swim its clear waters. Further up the glen you should try the the Clova hotel very comfortable... More

This was an event organised by the Angus Ranger service. The group left at 11am from the Ranger station . We were accompanied by a deer stlker and a ranger. On the tour we saw rutting deer, many stags, some ten pointers ,hinds, and the roaring of the stags from the hillside was quite awesome. It was a 4 hour... More

I reside in the vicinity of the glens and thoroughly enjoy walking through them when I usually return with a gallon of fresh pure water straight from the hills. Each glen has it own uniqueness and they are all beautiful. Walking through them with my three dogs is a joy at any time of the year.

Glen Clova and Glen Esk both have walks for amateur walkers through to those looking for a challenge! Recently walked up to loch Brandy (about 5km all together), steep walk at the start but well worth the view at the top! Able to walk from the glen clova hotel to glen esk, or add an extra 5/6km walk onto loch... More
