We are a family with two small children and booked to stay in a cottage at Skye Trekking Centre. Kirsty was so wonderful to book with. The cottage: - Modern, clean and obviously loved with lots of special touches to make us feel comfortable. - I'm so happy we found this place! Kirsty Duff has been wonderful to arrange our... More

The kids really enjoyed the trek. Kids can ride from age 3, and adults under the weight limit (83 kg, fully clothed) can ride as well. They take you out for an hour's ride in a very picturesque environment. The staff is very friendly. At £25 per person (child or adult, plus a 60 p fee if you pay by... More

I have been every where from China to Australia to the U.S. and the Isle of Skye has the most diverse and amazing geology packed into one place as any or all the other places on this planet. It might be a tad hard to get there but thats all part of the charm!

My friends and I were touring round scotland in a vintage camper van and decided to try something different. I found it very easy to book with Skye trekking centre as this was done with just a simple email. They were very helpful and even emailed directions to find them which we did with ease. I also called last minute... More

Our pony trek was great fun (once I overcame my fear!) and was really enjoyable. The ponies were lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly, and were able to put an absolutely beginner like me at ease. And what a fantastic location. I'd just like to say many thanks for the part you played in what was a... More

We had zero experience heading in and they gave us a very basic lesson on how to control the ponies. Unfortunately they had had a rough week at the centre and things were running late that morning, so the person at reception was running around on a gimpy leg trying to get all the horses tacked up while weighing everyone... An enjoyable hour spent with family. We are all complete novices so felt reassured by the number of staff leading the horses. The staff were chatty and gave lots of info on the horses and their personalities. I imagine this would not be very exciting for experienced riders but it was a perfect experience for our group.

Met at reception by the most disorganised, disorientated person I have ever met in customer services, who proceeded to tut loudly every time a car drove up the drive-way, occasionally muttering "what do they want". She then tried several times to fit a customer with a clearly broken riding hat. Kept "forgetting" what she was doing. Nothing there to inspire... More

Thank you for your review. Our toilets are for staff only as we are very muddy throughout the day working with the horses as you can expect, therefore unless someone is desperate for the loo, we generally do not allow customers to use them. This is usually explained to anyone who wishes to use them before hand. We are under... More
