We had a hike to there and place football near the table rock.. we had a great time hiking there and the view was amazing.. I unspoiled and still like hundreds years ago.. I would like to do it again if I am back to skye.. Now we can see this place in the movies from time to time.. pretty... More

The Quiraing is an amazing place with the most stunning views when you reach the top levels. There are various routes one can take, some more challenging than others. If you are not a competent hill walker, I would strongly suggest taking a guide. Some of the structures, like the Prison and the Table, are difficult to reach and without... More

This mountain range was one of the most stunning places I've ever been. It was incredibly windy in January not sure how the rest of the months are, but I suggest to bring a good jacket and hiking boots if you plan on getting out of the car and don't want to freeze or blow away.

One of the best walks we've ever had- so atmospheric. We walked late afternoon in autumn after all the day trippers had gone home and had the place to ourselves. IN our experience this is always the best way to see popular places- go early morning or later afternoon to avoid crowds and get the real atmosphere. We only had... More

One of the most beautiful, majestic and breathtaking places I have ever been to! We have been here several times and its brilliance never ceases to amaze us. A must if you're on Skye.

Breathtaking view indeed. The walk is more than an hour. We did not make it to the top as we have a little one. Beautiful view.

Breathless views of mountains, valleys and bodies of water create the 2nd best day walk I've ever been on behind only New Zealand's Tongariro Pass. We were fortunate to have relatively good weather for the hike too.

We took a local's advice to come to Quiraing with the recommendation that the landscape was stunning, the best on Skye and she spoke the truth. From the parking lot, allow several hours with snacks and water to reach the 'tabletop' to the north. The trail is fairly well packed so footwear should not be a concern, but strong winds... More

The hike from the parking lot to the top of the Quiraing and back is not difficult but you should allow 3-4 hours or more depending on your pace. Bring water and food with you. Easy gradual inclines, a couple of streams to cross, a few steeper areas with loose rocks, but overall very doable. Lots of side trails that... More

The road from Uig is fantastic, cutting across the moor before you reach the amazing view around two-thirds of the way across of the ridge. Well worth a trip, and I'm sure would be a fantastic area to explore further on foot.
