One of the top ten places to visit in the UK

Its very Lord of the Ringsesque. Great for families, walkers and general tourists, combine with the Old Man of Storr for a day out.

You can see for miles and miles from the top of the Quiraing - if it's a clear day. Not a difficult climb but wear sturdy shoes. It is worth the climb. From the top you can see over to Applecross on the mainland and to the outer isles on the other side. In winter the snow covered mountains are... More

About 3 miles up a single track road with a great hairpin bend near the top. There is a fairly big car park, it was really busy, luckily we got a space. We did however see someone try parking on the opposite side just off the road and they got stuck as the land is really wet. Good bunch of... More

Scotland is amazing that way...even in bad weather the vistas and walks are spectacular. Bring rain-pants!

This is not too difficult of a hike, easily done slowly by even the worst of couch potatoes. But if you are a steady hiker, this one is easy. It's well worth the time to hike to see the amazing topography. The views on a clear day are fantastic and you can explore for hours if you wish. I recommend... More

We went on a windy day and did not get very far as we had kids with us and it was freezing. But what a site. Just beautiful. Follow the road for about 2 miles up the single lane road (with lots of passing places) sealed to a car park up the top of the hill. From here you can... More

One you never forget. Your view goes as far as you vcan see to even the sea. And you have from both sides of the road a different view.

Hired a car for our stay in Skye and driving over the top at Quiraing was worth it! Views outstanding...felt like we were on top of Skye. Beautiful.

Need to be reasonably fit to complete this walk. Well worth it as the views are breathtaking. Quite boggy on top and the walk down, take extra socks.

For travelers in decent shape, the Quiraing hikes are very accessible and absolutely worth a few hours of your time. With gradual elevation changes and fairly well-worn trails, the Quiraing affords hikers of all levels some splendid views of the sea as well as northeastern Skye. Sheep scattered throughout the area provide company for even the solo hikers, and some... More
