What a great viewing spot. Anybody into walking in an area of outstanding beauty should visit. The road is very steep up with hairpin bends and passing places. Its not advisable in the winter if the road is covered in snow or icy. Once you reach the top there is limited parking so don't offend the locals by abandoning your... More

This is a fairly easy walk however parts may not be for the faint hearted. But any trip to Skye would not be complete without a visit to this stunning area.

a must on lifes tick list of good walks. we walked for five hours, dogs at hand, passing only 2 couples in all that time, either way you feel you could be walking one of the hundreds of hill path ways a millennium ago

Simply one of the most breathtaking pieces of scenery on the Planet. Get here on a sunny day, early or very late for Sunset or Sunrise to get the shadows over the heather and grasses and just gasp at it's beauty.

We parked at the top. I wouldn't say it was a "car park" but you could park your car there! We only got about 500m along the path when a small stream cut across and we didn't feel able to attempt to cross it as was slopey and slippery. Windy, wild and whacky!

It was so rainy and windy on the one day we were able to see the Quairing that we could barely get out of our car. It was a bit disappointing, but mostly because of the terrible weather.

The Quiraing ISN'T at Sleat but it IS on Skye. The setting? There is NOTHING like The Quiraing - NOTHING! Google it and see. It is magical. It will take your breath away.
