The Quirang is a magical place often featured in exotic movies and sporty car commercials. It is at the far end of Skye and overlooks the sea like an ancient aircraft carrier. The hike is long and arduous. It starts off fairly easy, but just keeps getting steeper and rockier. It is well worth the effort and truly one of... More

Have now visited the Quiraing three times and found it to be one of the most breathtakingly beautiful and mystical, almost spiritual, places that I have ever seen. It is well worth the scramble up to the table and on to the summit. The walk can be arduous particularly in wet weather conditions and it pays to stick to the... More

This hike is extremely worth your time. We got a bit lost finding the place based on the Google maps so make sure to follow the signs to make the right turns. You'll have to drive up towards the Quiraing and park your car off to the side. The trail goes pretty far and gets pretty tight. I would advise... More

Beautiful place, fantastic scenery, if the weather is good you can't beat it. Walking not too strenuous either if you don't want to to be as you can start high up.

The views are straight out of Star Wars and the place has a other-worldly feel to it.... A must see for anyone visiting isle of skye. Note : There is very little parking space and it gets full quickly on busy days (As we found out)

It's easy to stop at the top of the Uig road hairpins and take a picture and move on, the picture will be great, both of the Quirang rock formations against the sky and the panoramic views. But put on your walking boots and take the time to walk. It's worth it.

I have visited this magical place several times now and each time I am never quite prepared for how utterly spectacular the views are. There is something very, very special about this dramatic landscape, almost supernatural. It can be a dangerous place at times, so go prepared, with correct footwear but most of all enjoy the experience, the quietness, the... More
