This is a small organisation that takes in snakes, reptiles, turtles etc that have been brought to them for various reasons. We found it very informative the young gentleman gave us a description and reason as to why each animal was there and explained any question related to these animals. It is purely a voluntary place relying on donations so... More

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our visit to the sepentarium. We had a personal tour with a very friendly and knowledgeable member of staff. For such a small place there was a great variety of reptiles: snakes, lizards and tortoises. The highlight if the visit was getting to hold one of the snakes. A great way... More

We were in Broadford so decided to pop into the Septentarium to have a look around. The place itself isn't large, but the entry price reflects this and the animals that are there are clearly well looked after and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. There is lots of information provided about the animals in their care and there... More

Our daughter is astudent in Eco & Wildlife. Since she started this study, we look different at these kind of 'attractions' It's not big, but it is a valuable and cosy place. The staff explained everything very clear. They do a good jog over there. Even if you are affraid of snakes, go there. You do not need to touch... More

My kids loved it! The guide was very passionate and knowledgeable. Although small, you could be here for hours just asking questions!

A nice place to stop for a while, and has a nice little café alongside for a refreshment/snack. Quite a small centre, but it has quite a lot packed in from frilled lizards to iguanas and snakes. all are behind glass unless taken out by the handler for presentations. They are very informative and if you want you can also... More

We visited Skye Serpentarium whilst spending an afternoon in Broadford with 3 children. It was fantastic! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a jolly chap (Billy?) who showed so much enthusiasm! We were intrigued for over an hour hearing stories & information about where they came from etc. The children learnt lots about the residents at... More

We stopped here and had a tour around and we were able to hold and stroke a snake, we purchased some snake skin also in the shop which was not expensive. We also went to the cafe next door for some Skye ice-cream which was really nice and the staff were very pleasnat.

This is a very small attraction, however, it's well worth a visit, the kids loved looking at the different snakes and reptiles and we all enjoyed holding the snake, the staff were very friendly and informative, this will change your views on reptiles!
