This was our second trip to Mull and we booked two days out with Finlay. He has a vast knowledge of Mull's wildlife and history which he shares with enthusiasm and humour and is happy to tailor a trip to the requirements of the group. It's a great day out and the time flies by, assisted by a delicious packed... More

Finlay is a very genial host and his tales and knowledge of the island are second-to-none and very interesting. It rained the day we went out but that may no difference. Finlay's chat kept us going and the day went by in a flash. Would highly recommend the tour and most definitely worth the money.

As this year's visit was our second to Mull and last year we went with Finlay on his "Tall Tales" tour we decided to go on his Wildlife tour this year. I asked if he could find me a Dipper (a smallish bird that lives in fast flowing rivers). Try as he did,the birds did not play ball though we... More

We arrived on Mull as the heatwave started and my husband didn't fancy driving after our long drive the day before, so we went with Finlay. He has 'the gift of the gab' and is an excellent storyteller, whether it's the myths, legends or history of Mull or recounting his experiences as a police sergeant on the island. The population... We had a fantastic day with Finlay. There were 4 of us ranging in age from 4 to 74 and Finlay kept us all entertained. We had amazing weather and although 3 of us were suffering a bit with the lurgie we all thoroughly enjoyed our Tall Tales Tour. Would 100% recommend the tour - money well spent. Thank you.

We echo everything the previous reviewers have said. Finlay is a wonderful storyteller and knows absolutely everything about Mull. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and the day flew by. Do not miss this unique, interesting, and fun filled experience!!!!

Being a tour guide myself in Sydney, I am probably more critical than most. We wanted to see the Island in a day, learn of the history - especially relating to Lachlan Macquarie (5th Governor of Australia), but not go over the parts we had already explored . Our tour was reshaped around our wishes and covered all the relevant... More

We spent a brilliant (if slighty driech!) day with Finlay in the van. Lots of great info and folklore about Mull. He really knew his stuff, particularly in relation to the white tailed sea eagles. We got some fantastic opportunities to observe & photograph them. All round an excellent wildlife (I have a great otter photo!) and all other sorts... More

We just spent a day with Finlay touring Mull and what a joy.... We saw wildlife in abundance, otters, white tailed eagles (one flew right overhead), golden eagles, kestrels, hen harriers and a wee mouse too. Not only did we learn where to look, we learned what to look for, got a history lesson and a big bit of humor... More

My wife and I had a brilliant day out on a tour of Mull. The weather was mixed to say the least, hail, horizontal rain, sun, cloud, howling gale. But this did not spoil our day at all. Our guide Finlay Christine was a constant source of interesting facts, humour, anecdotes, tales alongside a wealth of wildlife knowledge on its... More
