Great welcome, safe modern boat, trip from Tobermory saved us travel on the interesting single track roads. 2 hours on Lunga and 45 mins on Staffa. Both fantastic experiences, the staff couldn't be more helpful, friendly and polite. Take your own flask and food and wrap up warm, however there is cover on the boat and a clean toilet. Islands... my nine-year old niece and myself enjoyed (immensely) a weekend with sea life surveys on board sula beag with ruth, ewan and james - travelling off the coast of mull, lunching on muck and surveying the sea and skies for lots of interesting beasties - including porpoise, seals, puffins, eagles and a host of sea birds, etc. the crew's eyes... Such a fantastic day. Sea Life Surveys were amazing, knowledgeable hosts. So exciting to see Minke Whale and Basking Sharks. plus a huge selection of sea birds. A fantastic day, with lunch on the Treshnish Isles (via boa!) Would happily recommend and re-visit! More

despite the weather being a bit rough so we couldnt go too far out, we enjoyed our sometimes bumpy ride. Kids were a bit queasy, but the experience was great. We saw seals, birdlife and porpoises. Staff were great and informative. More

I've wanted to whale watch for a while. I can't fault the crew and staff who were friendly, upbeat and helpful from booking through to the end of the trip. I'd recommend this company and trip to anyone who loves nature and wants to connect to wildlife. More

I enjoyed every minute of my trip with Sea Life Surveys in September 2011. I went on the 4 hour trip which was the perfect length of time to feel like it was a proper day out, have lunch at sea and to see plenty of the wildlife. The head guide Ruth was extremely knowledgeable about what we were seeing... More

we went out with Sea Life surveys for the short 2 hour Ecocruise. Last year we did the same and saw sea eagles feeding and basking sharks. This year we didn't see these but we did see seals and various sea birds. The guides were very informative on both trips, taking time to answer questions that they must have answered... More

We had amazingly close sightings of a minke whale circling the boat checking us out! We could even see the white of the whales fins under the water as it was so close! The crew are brilliant and you can tell they really are enthusiastic about what they do. The crew and skipper all had good knowledge of the local... More

I went on the seven hour whale watch in August 2011. The crew are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and inclusive and their ability to spot wildlife at considerable distances is truly impressive. We saw minke whales, a basking shark, grey and common seals, harbour porpoises, skuas, shearwaters, fulmars, gannets and lots more. The brief stop for lunch on the island of... More
