Although we were unlucky on our trip,(no sightings), the trip itself was very enjoyable and well organised with attentive, vigilant and knowledgeable staff. The short rib ride to a beautiful beach for lunch, was pure magic, especially with the attendant curious seals looking on!! We will definitely be coming back for another trip. Remember half the fun is the expectation... More

We spent a brilliant day with Sea Life Surveys. The team is knowledgable and helpful, professional and personable; they knew just when to break out the ginger snaps - it wasn't really rough, but it definitely wasn't calm either! Also, a great skipper. There is a strong understanding of animal and environmental welfare and a commitment to conservation apparent in... More

This was a fantastic day out at sea. We were very lucky with our sightings and saw minke whales, common dolphins, porpoises, seals, sea eagles, puffins and a host of other sea birds, including the great skua. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The crew are friendly and knowledgeable and their passion for the wildlife and science was obvious. All sightings... More

This was our 5th trip with Sealife Surveys which in itself shows what a great experience is provided. So long as you are prepared for the weather and appreciate the unpredictability of wildlife watching you will not be disappointed. All the crew are very friendly, approachable and knowledgable. Importantly in addition to your enjoyment the welfare of the the wildlife... More

This trip was one of the best experiences; the guides are so knowledgeable, and really helpful. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We were lucky enough to see lots of different beasties on our trip, including two beautiful Minke whales, porpoises and dolphins, and lots of birdlife. Of course, sightings are unpredictable, but it is a beautiful trip no... More

We had an excellent trip. Not just because the weather was in our favour: calm water, a little overcast (so v little glare off the water) & hardly any wind. Also not only because we sighted: dolphins up close, porpoise, seals, minky whale, white tailed Eagles & oh so many lovely seabirds. Witnessed a tussle over food between a Skua... More

On a recent vist to Mull, my wife and I went out on a Sea Life Survey trip. The weather was extremely kind to us: sunshine and a relatively calm sea. After heading out of the Sound of Mull we made for the Cairns of Coll and were soon rewarded with views of Minke whales. At first they were somewhat... More

We went on the 7-hour trip, and I think that if you've got the time, this is the best one - the longer you're out on the water, the more chance you have of seeing things. Even so, we were particularly lucky - we saw more Minke whales than we could count, and even the boat crew said they'd never... More

I had a great day - stayed on specially to do this trip. The crew were extremely well-informed and pointed out many things I would not have recognised. Very exciting to see Minke whales, and a great view of white-tailed eagles as well as a great deal more.Would certainly like to go again.
