I have just spent one of the most memorable days of my life on this planet. A 7 hour trip with sea life surveys on the Suila Beag. Amaziing, wonderful ,unforgettable.Well worth the money. Literally hundreds of common dolphins, Minke whales, porpoises, white tailed eagles, a seal, manx shearwaters, fulmars, gannets. We stopped on the Isle of Muck for a... More

Went on the 7 hour sailing to the Cairns of Coll. The weather had been rough the past few days and our initial date was postponed. The organisers were very helpful with this suggesting alternative dates. The trip itself was excellent. We had excellent guides including the volunteers. Saw loads of birds but sadly no whales or dolphins this time... More

We saw no whales or basking shark during the seven hour trip although we did see some seals. Unfortunately the sea was quite rough owing to the previous day's gale force winds so actually being able to see anything was quite remote anyway. This fact we only found out once we were underway. Of course with wild animals there is... More

We booked through the visitor info office by the marine building in the morning for the 5:30 Eco tour, they take a 10% deposit and you pay by cash or card when you take the trip. We waited about 2 minutes before being enthusiastically greeted by a member of the crew asking would we like to go straight out as... More

We took an eco cruise on the 6th August, we have a 7 and 9 year old so thought anything more than a couple of hours at sea might be too much for them. We had wonderful weather which is always a bonus and with only 5 families on the trip my daughter's were able to fully interact with the... More

The 4 hour trip goes only as far as the Tobermory Craignure ferry. Despite enthusiastic staff there are very few chances of encountering big animals. 4 hours in the same waters staring at seagulls in a small boat rocked by every wave. Our kids were bored, my wife was seasick and I was wondering what I could have done with... More

We took the 7 hour sea safari and were very impressed. The tour was well organised and the on-board guides were enthusiastic and well informed. We saw a wide range of sea and bird life including Minke whale, basking sharks (10+), seals, porpoise, herons, terns and an amazing display of feeding gannets (50+) diving for fish. The boat was well... More

Thank you for such an excellent trip this August which completely exceeded our expectations. Crew were enthusiastic, friendly and professional with lots of knowledge and keen eyes for spotting wildlife. Booked 4 hour trip but it turned out to be nearly 5 hours after captain had spotted some dolphins and sharks which we were all keen to see. Saw minke... More

It is difficult to know where to start!! We booked the 4 hour tour as we had a 4 year old with us - it was the perfect length tour although the adults could have stayed all day. We saw so much; minkes, basking shark, loads of playful dolphins, porpoises, seals, puffins, eagles, sunfish... The sheer enthusiasm, pride in the... More

What a fantastic day out. We took the 7 hour whale watching charter. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed their work. Although if rained from time to time, and we didn't see any whales we saw over 40 basking sharks. At one point we were just drifting whilst bring surrounded by feeding sharks. We also saw... More
