Unfortunately we were too late to get on the last tour of the day but the staff were really helpful, giving us a dram and setting up the video for us to watch. Definitely one we will be going back to on a proper tour. More

Visited Bowmore while staying in village. Very knowledgeable staff, very good tour. Got to sample quite a few drams - real eye-opener for the novice. Visitor centre recently done up, very well done and fantastic views over Loch indal. Well worth a visit. More

I've visited a few distilleries but this one is by far one of the very best. So good I 've been 3 times and the Islanders are so friendly and the place is so clean and tidy. Never been to the islands before ? Try this one first, as the local nectar is worth the trip alone. More
