Played Turnberry Ailsa in blowing wind and late-in-the-round rain. Got soaked, didn't score that well, but it was a wonderful experience. Had lunch before the round and dinner afterward in the Clubhouse, and both meals were excellent as well. Pro shop staff, caddies and wait staff were wonderful

Played the 9 hole Arran golf course, very short but a tricky track. Facilities were excellent nice clubhouse and had a lovely chipping area. The price was a little excessive but still a great day out.

I have stayed in the spa rooms, lodges, and main hotel building at this resort. I had room 2 in main hotel, after the agent booked a sea view hotel. This did not happen. Room 2 feels like the servants quarters, compared with spa room and lodge rooms. (See photos) This rooms bed creaked all night at headboard. The vehicle... More

Our party of 4 arrived on a rainy day in early May for a 3 pm tee time. Were well received by the clubhouse staff and pro-shop. After lunch in the clubhouse we ventured out to play the Ailsa Championship Course. Besides the quality of the course it was nice to see the Resort hotel from almost anywhere on the... More

My son bought me a Special Deal as a birthday present. For the grand total of £105 per person, we enjoyed the golfing experience of a lifetime. From the moment we drove up to the front door, we were in the company of the most expert and pleasant staff imaginable. Absolutely nothing is too much bother to anyone of them,... More

Amazing course with some stunning scenery, 4.5 hours to get round if you stop at the 10 th hole half way house but at £5.50 for a bottle of beer is very steep, the club house is very nice and well stocked and the Randell is very good as is the putting green, over all a very nice package break

Once again the hotel surpassed itself. The upgrade was well worth the money and once again the staff were excellent. Played golf on a beautiful spring morning and followed it with afternoon tea which exceeded even my expectations. If you want to relax and chill out, this is the place to go. Thanks Turnberry.

What an honour to play this course. Although not the Open venue, still a stiff test of golf. And long! Hole 8 hides down by the cliffs and sea line then 9,10 & 11 were a battle with the wind as we faced the famous lighthouse.

If god played golf , then this would be his home! Visited Turnberry for a birthday treat with some very good friends. Right from the second we arrived the staff couldn't be anymore welcoming. Even chatted to a member of the kitchen staff in the carpark who was happily on his way in to work and this young man was... More
