The Aisla Course was a stunner with beautiful sea-side holes throughout and a very challenging set of holes and greens. The check in guys cheekily advised us to put away our driver and man were they right. The holes are pretty tight and if you can hit an iron reliably in the 180-200 yard range you should be alright. We... More

Ailsa Course is a gem. On a clear day the views of the rock and sea are spectacular. Wonderful Classic Links course among my favorites. Knowledgable caddies and good practice facilities and pro shop. Great Hotel with outstanding view.

True testing track not for the faint hearted. Lots of ups n downs with challenging shots into tricks greens. Great views of the hotel from the 9th Tee Box and breath taking views of the light house from the 10th Tee Box. Must play for a keen golfer who enjoys links golf. The club house is cozy and has good... More

Two couples from the US traveling to Scotland for a golf vacation and the Ailsa course at Turnberry was on our list. We waited until about two weeks before our trip to book our tee time and found a 4 ball and dinner special on the website if you were able to play after 2PM which was not a problem... More

We've been to Turnberry a number of times. Stunning championship course recently purchased by none other than "the Donald" himself. Stay tuned for some exciting renovations...provided they are okayed by the R&A.

Played Turnberry Ailsa in blowing wind and late-in-the-round rain. Got soaked, didn't score that well, but it was a wonderful experience. Had lunch before the round and dinner afterward in the Clubhouse, and both meals were excellent as well. Pro shop staff, caddies and wait staff were wonderful

Played the 9 hole Arran golf course, very short but a tricky track. Facilities were excellent nice clubhouse and had a lovely chipping area. The price was a little excessive but still a great day out.
